Step one: Pack your bags. Step two: Fly to America to be with your fiancee.

Step three: Join a dating app to find a girlfriend?

Welp, that’s what’s on the agenda for a Virginia Beach man and his fiancee from Manila, Philippines.

The couple, 46-year-old Tarik Myers and 28-yearold Hazel Cagalitan, are one of seven set to bare it all during season eight of “90 Day Fiancé” on TLC.

The show goes like this: Americans find love abroad, apply to get visas for their partners — most commonly the K-1 visa — then when their partners are approved and come to the United States, they have 90 days to get married or return to their native countries.

Myers and Cagalitan met on a dating site and are no strangers to the network and its many spinoffs.

They were initially introduced on “Before the 90 Days,” where viewers got to see him visit her hometown and propose before coming back to the U.S.

They were also on “What Now?” in April 2019, where Myers filled out the K-1 visa application, and later, “Pillow Talk,” where he and his brother watched the show and gave their two cents about how other cast members handled their international relationships.

During their first stint on the show, their relationship was plagued with issues such as religious differences, finding a place for Cagalitan to live after she told him she was homeless, his relationship with his young daughter’s mother, and distrust from their families.

“She doesn’t know anything about you,” Tarik told Hazel about his child’s mother, Rose.

“I didn’t tell her about you because of how she has acted in the past. She don’t need to know anything about you, really, and that’s really so she can’t try to cause problems between us.”

Also part of the conflict are Myers’ brother and Cagalitan’s sister.

Cagalitan said her sister wanted her to marry a Japanese man and doesn’t like Myers, while Myers’ brother said Cagalitan was probably using him to get to the United States.

Despite warnings from loved ones, the couple decided to push on and get engaged.

To pop the question, the aspiring rapper played a song he wrote as they walked along the beach.

“Far away girl, other side of the world, a brother wanna make you my round the way girl,” he rapped. “Pack your bags, baby. Welcome to Virginia Beach.”

Since then, Myers’ brother seems to have warmed somewhat to the pairing, but he encouraged Myers to get a prenuptial agreement.

“I don’t have plans to steal,” Cagalitan said to Myers via video chat before the pair agreed to sign a prenup during an episode of “What Now?”

During the upcoming season, viewers can expect to see the couple continue their relationship and possibly add another woman to the mix.

Cameras will follow them as they navigate Cagalitan’s bisexuality, finding an American girlfriend and making plans to potentially bring her 8-year-old son to the U.S.

“Growing up in the Philippines, I just hide it,” Cagalitan says in the season eight trailer, seemingly about her bisexuality. “I am excited about having a girlfriend.”

TLC promised to bring the drama in their release about the show, noting that the couple’s past may thwart their plans to find a lady for their love triangle.

To find out what happens next, tune in at 8 p.m. Dec. 6 on TLC.
