Robert David Turner

Robert David Turner, 83, passed away on January 1, 2021. Born on November 8, 1937, Robert was a native Hampton and resided in Yorktown until his passing. Robert was born into a family of 4 sisters and 5 brothers, him being the “baby” of the family. He graduated from Hampton High School in 1956 and married the mother of his children, Nancy Jo Carl, on September 27, 1958. Robert worked at NASA Langley Research Center as an Electronic Engineer. Known by his golf buddies as "Bob", he loved to golf.

Robert is preceded in rest by his wife, Nancy Carl Turner.

He is survived by children, Teresa "Terri" Littlefield and husband David, Robert "Robby" Turner, Jr. and wife Lisa; grandchildren, David Littlefield Jr., Brittany Littlefield, Brandi Turner Gills and husband Hamilton, Christopher “Bubba” Turner; sister, Ruth Wilson; and brother, Glenn Turner and wife Shirley.
