Conner Clark hit a solo homer and Scott Crosson had two hits and two RBIs to lead Christophe­r Newport to a 6-5 victory over Bridgewate­r at BC Baseball Field in Bridgewate­r.

Josh Husby pitched seven strong innings to earn the victory for the Captains (5-1), allowing three runs (one earned) on six hits.

Michael Martorano had two hits and an RBI for CNU, while Ethan Weaver had two hits and a run.

The Captains will visit North Carolina Wesleyan at 3 p.m. Friday.
