Bayside, King’s Fork move into the Top 15

1. Oscar Smith (4-0)

105 voting points (7 firstplace votes); last week: 1

The Tigers have yet to allow a point this season, recording their fourth shutout in a 48-0 win over Grassfield.

2. Lake Taylor (4-0) 98 points; last week: 2

With a second straight cancellati­on, the Titans end their regular season and look ahead to the Class 4 Region A playoffs.

3. Phoebus (3-0)

88 points; last week: 3

The Phantoms have completed their regular season and await the playoffs in Class 3 Region A.

4. Maury (3-1)

83 points; last week: 4

Following a week off, the Commodores face Churchland on Thursday with major playoff implicatio­ns on the line.

5. Salem (3-0)

80 points; last week: 5

The SunDevils’ regular season also is complete and they will compete in the Class 5 Region A playoffs.

6. Lafayette (4-0)

64 points; last week: 7 Notching their fourth straight win, the Rams turned aside New Kent 35-13.

7. Deep Creek (4-1)

61 points; last week: 10

A 27-14 win over Hickory solidified a playoff spot in the Class 5 Region A bracket.

8. Green Run (2-2)

41 points; last week: 12

For the first time since 2007, the Stallions beat Ocean Lakes in a rugged defensive affair.

9. Cox (3-0)

38 points; last week: 13 Jordin Cooper’s two touchdowns helped the Falcons soar past Kellam 28-0.

10. Churchland (4-0)

37 points; last week: 11

The Truckers will test their mettle in an Eastern District showdown with Maury on Thursday.

11. Bayside (4-1)

33 points; last week: NR

The Marlins rallied from a 14-point deficit to stun Princess Anne 37-30.

12. Warwick (3-1)

32 points; last week: 9

The Raiders split two games with a narrow loss to Hampton and a close win against Menchville.

13. King’s Fork (2-0)

25 points; last week: NR

The Bulldogs rallied from a 12-0 second-half deficit to knock off Nansemond River 20-12.

14. Princess Anne (3-2)

24 points; last week: 6 Playoff chances took a hit as the Cavaliers dropped a tight contest against Bayside.

15. Ocean Lakes (3-2)

12 points; last week: 8

The Dolphins’ offense couldn’t get going in an 18-7 defeat to Green Run.

Dropped out: Woodside (2-1), Nansemond River (1-1).
