Attendance will again this week be limited to 500 fans, and tickets to most games must be purchased in advance online. Most schools will release ticket sales for parents first, and the remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public. Tickets for Class 6, Class 5 and Class 4 games are expected to be available at www.gofan.co. Those tickets are $10 each for adults and $5 for students, plus a service fee.
In Class 3 Region A, Lafayette athletic director Kyle Neve said tickets for the Rams’ game against Phoebus at Wanner Stadium in the Williamsburg area will be sold at the gate if all parents tickets aren’t pre-sold. The spectator limit is 500, with 250 allotted for each team. Spectators must have an ID to purchase tickets, which cost $8.
Most games were at or near capacity last week. Phoebus sold all 500 tickets before game day for its region semifinal against Hopewell at Darling Stadium in Hampton, while Oscar Smith sold 444 of its 500 tickets for its Thursday night game last week against Grassfield.
