Estover Wyatt Ruffin

-

On November 2, 2021, God called home our beloved angel on earth, Estover Wyatt Ruffin, 86, and she left and went to heaven. She was born April 16, 1935 in Surry, Va. She graduated from L. P.

Jackson High School as valedictorian. She was a homemaker who found great joy in raising her

children and devoted her entire life to them. She was quiet but also strong and determined. She was truly a sweet and gentle

woman and had a loving smile. Her beautiful soul was reflected in her personality. She was a nurturing, caring, and compassionate mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She felt motivated to help her family in any way that she could. She made it easy for all who knew her to

honor and love her. She meant so much to her family. She provided love, understanding, and wisdom, along with solid foundation and a safe place to fall when necessary. She will be treasured forever. Words can not describe how much she will be missed. She was content with being at home, getting phone calls and visits from loved ones and friends. She also enjoyed going out to eat and shopping. She loved to drink her Pepsi. She was a fan of Smokey Robinson, Lionel Richie, and gospel singer Marvin Winans.

Sometimes she used to say “I just want peace and quiet myself”. Now she is at peace. We thank

God we had her. Her spirit will always guide her family. Estover was predeceased by her parents, James Wyatt and Mollie Newby Wyatt, her brothers, James, Emment, Newton, and Joseph and her sisters Mozelle, Lucille, and Dorothy, two grandsons, Troy and Floyd and one granddaughter Priscilla. She leaves behind one sister, Margie Robinson, six children, five daughters Queen McDonald (James), Jarra Johnson, Carolyn Ruffin, Teresa West (Floyd), Lorena Blow (William); one son, Marvin Ruffin (Yasmeen), 13 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews.
