Cape Henry 5, Woodberry Forest 2:

The Dolphins will play for a record fourth consecutive VISAA Division I championship after a semifinal victory at City Stadium in Richmond.

Cape Henry, the first boys soccer program to win three straight VISAA Division I titles, will play Collegiate School of Richmond in the championship game. Collegiate

defeated St. Christopher’s 1-0 in the other semifinal.

Collegiate handed Cape Henry one of its two regular-season losses — a 2-1 decision in October in Richmond.

The Dolphins won titles in 2017, ’18 and ’19.

The 2020 state tournament was not played because of the pandemic.

Norfolk Academy 10, St. Catherine’s 1: Playing in their final home game, the top-seeded Bulldogs rolled over their fourthseeded opponents from Richmond on Thursday to reach the VISAA Division I championship game.

Lizzie Adams had four goals, Rachel Thetford added three goals, Olivia Galiotos finished with a pair of goals and Joji Purdy also scored.

Norfolk Academy scored three goals in about two minutes, the first two by Adams, for a 4-1 lead late in the first quarter.

Norfolk Academy will go to the St. Catherine’s field at 11:30 a.m. Saturday to play for the crown against Trinity Episcopal. The third-seeded Titans beat second-seeded Collegiate 3-1 in an all-Richmond semifinal.

Nansemond-Suffolk 5, Virginia Episcopal 4: Nansemond-Suffolk Academy edged Virginia Episcopal of Lynchburg on Thursday on the Saints’ courts to earn a spot in Saturday’s VISAA Division II championship match. Anne Perry Harrell and Morgan Kozak won 10-8 at No. 2 doubles to break a 4-4 tie, ensuring an all-Hampton Roads and all-TCIS final.

The Saints, mostly a team of seniors — many of whom have played on the varsity since eighth grade — will play Saturday for the title against the winner of Friday’s semifinal between No. 1 Norfolk Collegiate and No. 4 Cape Henry. The Oaks and Dolphins are set to play at 4 p.m. on Old Dominion’s courts.

Just like in their regular-season match against VES last month in Lynchburg, the Saints won three of six singles matches and two of three doubles to overcome the Bishops.

Maren Council, Morgan Kozak and Leavy won on singles lines 3, 5 and 6, respectively, for NSA. Leavy was filling in for Grace Russell, who was feeling ill.

In doubles, VES — led by freshman standout Blair Gill — won on line 1, but Leavy and Charlotte Kruger earned a 10-2 victory on line 3. That set up Harrell and Kozak for the clincher.

Potomac School 5, Norfolk Academy 4: The Bulldogs pressed top-seeded Potomac School in McLean, winning a pair of singles pro-sets and Nos. 2 and 3 doubles, but fell in a VISAA Division I semifinal. No. 3 Andersen Legum and No. 6 AC Perry won in singles for Norfolk Academy.
