No. 5 Duke 107, The Citadel 81: Duke beat The Citadel after Bulldogs coach Duggar Baucom collapsed on the court barely a minute into the game and was taken to a hospital.

Baucom fell along the sideline and was taken to Duke University Hospital. The 61-year-old Baucom was conscious as he was helped out of the gym by medical personnel.

“All things considered, he’s as good as he can be,” said associate head coach Jake Castleberr­y, a Virginia Beach native. “He was coherent the entire time . ... He just said he was in pain.”

Team spokesman John Brush said later that Baucom was in good spirits and remained in the hospital overnight. He was set to return to the team Tuesday morning.

Freshman forward Paolo Banchero scored a career-high 28 points and Wendell Moore Jr. had 22 for Duke (6-0).

Florida State 81, Missouri 58: Anthony Polite scored 14 points and Florida State (4-1) blew past Missouri (3-2) in the championsh­ip game of the Jacksonvil­le Classic.

Georgia Tech 85, Charleston Southern 70: Jordan Usher scored a career-high 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to spur Georgia Tech (4-1) to a victory in Atlanta.

Saint Mary’s 62, Notre Dame 59: Dan Fotu scored 22 points and hit a big 3-pointer in the final minute, lifting Saint Mary’s (5-0) to a win in the Maui Invitation­al in Las Vegas. Cormac Ryan paced Notre Dame (2-1) with 16 points.

Richmond 81, Hofstra 68: Tyler Burton had 22 points and Nathan Cayo added18 points and five assists for host Richmond (3-2).

Washington 77, George Mason 74: Terrell Brown Jr. scored 23 points and PJ Fuller added 21 off the bench as Washington held on in an opening-round game of the Crossover Classic in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. DeVon Cooper and Josh Oduro paced George Mason (4-2) with 21 points each.

Kent State 74, James Madison 69: Malique Jacobs registered 18 points and seven rebounds as Kent State prevailed in Naples, Florida. Julien Wooden collected 13 points for the Dukes (4-1).

Cincinnati 71, No. 14 Illinois 51:

Mike Saunders Jr. scored 20 points, Jeremiah Davenport added 19 as Cincinnati (5-0) overcame an early 15-point deficit to blow out Illinois (2-2) in the semifinals of the Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City, Missouri.

Ohio State 79, No. 21 Seton Hall 76: Meechie Johnson Jr. made a game-winning 3-pointer with 2.3 seconds left and Ohio State (4-1) won in the Fort Myers (Florida) Tip-Off.
