George Harold Everson
George Harold Everson, born March 12, 1999, passed away June 27, 2022. He was 23.
George was a graduate of Lafayette High School where he ran cross country. He played lacrosse with the Williamsburg Warriors, Royals and Patriots. He interned at Sentara Hospital and sang in the Williamsburg Community Chapel children's choir. He attended TNCC and excelled in his studies.
George enjoyed family vacations along the East Coast. It was on a trip to Carolina Beach when he bought his first guitar which led to a deep appreciation for music.
A wonderfully creative soul, George loved writing music and playing multiple instruments. Recently, he added vocals to his original music and was proud when he obtained his first copyright. He enjoyed shopping at thrift stores for vinyl records and visiting his aunt who shared his love of music and donated to his collection.
Passionate about skateboarding, George had many friends who shared his interest. He was talented and fearless in competitions and street
skating. He even taught his cat to skate.
George was employed at the Williamsburg National Golf Course where he discovered that golfing is hard. Previously, George was employed by Capriccio's Italian Restaurant.
George leaves behind his father and stepmother, Richard Everson and Tara Magill; sister, Allison Everson; grandparents, Jay and Nancy Everson; his mother, Celester Hope McAllister; an aunt and uncle, Michelle Gibb, and Nathan Everson, their spouses; six cousins and many other family members.
A memorial service will be held at Williamsburg Community Chapel on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11 a.m., 3899 John Tyler Hwy, Williamsburg. Burial is private, online condolences may be shared at www.nelsenwilliamsburg.com.
