BC knocks off No. 20 Clemson

Clemson wasn’t able to escape on the road this time.

Makai Ashton-Langford had two key driving baskets in the closing two minutes and finished with 15 points to help Boston College beat the 20th-ranked Tigers 62-54 on Tuesday night.

On Saturday, Clemson escaped with an 82-81 win at Florida State.

Jaeden Zackery added 13 points for the Eagles (11-12, 5-7 ACC).

Hunter Tyson led Clemson (18-5, 10-2) with 22 points. The Tigers fell into a tie in the loss column atop the ACC with No. 6 Virginia (9-2 in ACC).

More ACC Duke 75, Wake Forest 73:

Kyle Filipowski drilled a catch-andshoot 3-pointer from the top of the key with 47 seconds left and scored the final seven points as Duke (16-6, 7-4) held off Wake Forest (14-9, 6-6) at home.

Top 25 No. 4 Alabama 101, Vanderbilt 44:

Brandon Miller scored 22 points to help Alabama (19-3, 9-0 SEC) rout Vanderbilt (10-12, 3-6) at home for the Crimson Tide’s largest margin of victory over an SEC opponent ever.

No. 8 Kansas 90, No. 7 Kansas

State 78: Jalen Wilson had 20 points, Kevin McCullar Jr. added 16 points and 13 rebounds and Kansas (18-4, 6-3 Big 12) avenged a loss to Kansas State (18-4, 6-3) just a couple of weeks ago with a victory in Lawrence.

No. 15 TCU 76, West Virginia 72: Damion Baugh had 16 points and 10 assists, big man Eddie Lampkin Jr. made an unexpected return from injury and TCU (17-5, 6-3 Big 12) overcame the absence of top scorer Mike Miles Jr. to beat West Virginia (13-9, 2-7) at home.

Maryland 66, No. 21 Indiana 55: Jahmir Young scored 20 points, Donta Scott added 19 and host Maryland (15-7, 6-5 Big Ten) snapped a five-game winning streak by Indiana (15-7, 6-5).

Nevada 75, No. 22 San Diego State 66:

Jarod Lucas scored 26 points and Will Baker had 19 points and eight rebounds as Nevada (17-6, 7-3 Mountain West) knocked off San Diego State (17-5, 8-2) in Reno.

No. 24 UConn 90, DePaul 76: Jordan Hawkins scored 26 points, Adama Sanogo had 25 and UConn (17-6, 6-6 Big East) beat DePaul (9-14, 3-9) in Chicago.

State VCU 61, Davidson 59:

Adrian Baldwin Jr. scored 14 points to lead VCU (17-6, 8-2 Atlantic 10) and sealed the win with a jump shot with 16 seconds remaining as the visiting Rams knocked off Davidson (10-12, 3-7).
