Abby Beeman collected 19 points, eight assists and seven rebounds as No. 8 seed Marshall (17-13) topped No. 9 Coastal Carolina (14-16) in a second-round game in Pensacola, Florida.

Arkansas State 81, Georgia Southern 76 (OT): Izzy Higginbott­om scored 28 points to help the No. 11 seed Red Wolves (13-18) knock off the No. 6 seed.

Late Tuesday STATE VCU 79, Saint Louis 67:

Jalen DeLoach’s 14 points helped VCU defeat Saint Louis at home to clinch the outright Atlantic 10 regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament.

VCU earned a double-bye into the quarterfin­als of the A-10 tourney, which begins March 7 at the Barclays Center in New York.

Liberty 76, Bellarmine 56: Darius McGhee had 29 points as No. 2 seed Liberty (25-7) defeated No. 8 seed Bellarmine (15-18) in an Atlantic Sun Championsh­ip quarterfin­al in Lynchburg.

SUN BELT TOURNAMENT Texas State 81, Georgia State 76:

Drue Drinnon scored 16 points and all of Texas State’s starters scored in double figures as the No. 11 seed Bobcats defeated No. 14 seed Georgia State in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in Pensacola, Florida.

Arkansas State 86, Coastal Carolina 69: Terrance Ford Jr. had 25 points as No. 13 seed Arkansas State (13-19) defeated No. 12 seed Coastal Carolina (11-20) in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.

ACC Duke 71, N.C. State 67:

Jeremy Roach scored 20 points and helped Duke (22-8, 13-6) hold off North Carolina State (22-9, 12-8) to win its fifth straight game and complete a 16-0 home schedule.

Boston College 71, Wake Forest 69: Quinten Post scored 19 points and Makai Ashton-Langford’s scoop shot in the final seconds served as the game-winner, and streaking Boston College (15-15, 9-10) beat Wake Forest (18-12, 10-9) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Georgia Tech 96, Syracuse 76: Miles Kelly and Lance Terry each made a season-best seven 3-pointers and combined for 54 points as Georgia Tech (13-17, 5-14) rolled in a victory at Syracuse (16-14, 9-10). TOP 25

No. 3 Kansas 67, Texas Tech 63: Jalen Wilson scored 21 points in his Allen Fieldhouse farewell, fellow senior Kevin McCullar Jr. added 14 points and nine rebounds and Kansas (25-5, 13-4) held off Texas Tech (16-14, 5-12) to clinch a share of the Big 12 regular-season championsh­ip.

No. 6 Marquette 72, Butler 56: Tyler Kolek had 21 points and 10 assists, and Marquette (24-6, 16-3) clinched its first outright Big East championsh­ip by beating Butler (14-16, 6-13) in Indianapol­is.

No. 12 Tennessee 75, Arkansas 57: Olivier Nkamhoua scored 16 points to lead Tennessee (22-8, 11-6 SEC) to a victory over Arkansas (19-11, 8-9) in Knoxville.

Iowa 90, No. 15 Indiana 68: Kris Murray scored 26 points, Tony Perkins flirted with the first triple-double in Iowa history and the visiting Hawkeyes (19-11, 11-8 Big Ten) beat Indiana (20-10, 11-8).

Boise State 66, No. 18 San Diego State 60: Max Rice scored 26 points and reeled off 12 straight points in a 14-0 run to close out the game as Boise State (23-7, 13-4 Mountain West) beat San Diego State (23-6, 14-3).

No. 24 Texas A&M 69, Mississipp­i 61: Former Virginia Tech star Tyrece Radford scored 13 points as visiting Texas A&M (22-8, 14-3 SEC) erased an early 12-point deficit to beat Mississipp­i (11-19, 3-13).
