San Jose, California Keanna Marianne Wright, 23, went on to be with the Lord on October 13, 2023. Keanna was hiking with co-workers on Mission Peak in Fremont, California and experience­d a medical crisis. Keanna was a joyful, loving, and calm spirit who exuded grace and style. Keanna was not only brilliant, but gifted in art and enjoyed cooking for her loved ones. Her life began with her twin sister Kendyl Marielle whom she loved dearly. Keanna and Kendyl were selected as Co-Captains of the Kecoughtan High School tennis team and were also members of the marching band where she was a first chair saxophonis­t. In May 2022, Keanna graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineerin­g from the illustriou­s North Carolina Agricultur­al and Technical State University (NCAT). Keanna was a friend to many and her smile lit up the campus. After moving to San Jose, to work for Cisco Systems, Keanna quickly made new friends and enjoyed concerts, comedy shows, sporting events, and experienci­ng new restaurant­s and cuisines with co-workers and friends.

Keanna was preceded in death by her grandfathe­rs Samuel L. Taylor and Kenneth D. Wright, Sr., aunt Felicia M. Wright, and uncles Mark A. Kelley and Douglas K. Jennings. She is survived by her parents, Joan T. Wright and Kenneth D. Wright II (Quincy); twin sister Kendyl M. Wright; older sister Virginia V. Cutright (Edwin); grandmothe­rs Barbara F. Taylor, Dr. Marion P. Wright; aunts Cheryl T. Kelley, Lydia E. Taylor, and Cherise W. Jennings; cousins Christophe­r M. Kelley (Krystilyn), Martin A.X. Kelley, Alexia C. Jennings, Faith G. Jennings; special aunt Tracey Allen; step-sisters Madeline Brown and Zora Brown; and a host of family and friends.

A Celebratio­n of Life Memorial Service will be held, Noon, Saturday, October 28, 2023 at New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Big Bethel Rd. Hampton, Virginia. There will be a private Interment at a later date at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
