The Tribe: W&M nabbed the first of four consecutiv­e wins it likely needs to get into the FCS playoffs, beating Monmouth 31-28 last week by blocking a short field-goal attempt in the final seconds. Impressive all season running the ball, the Tribe added the balance missing as QB Darius Wilson threw for a season-high 283 yards, while Malachi Imoh ran for 112 yards. The Tribe ranks in the top 10 nationally in several defensive categories, most importantl­y points allowed per game (17.9).

The Great Danes: Albany is enjoying one of its best seasons as a CAA school and enters with five wins in its past six games and its conference title hopes still intact. The defense is allowing just 86.2 yards rushing per game and has generated 18 turnovers — fourth nationally. Reese Poffenbarg­er leads a formidable passing game with 240.1 yards per game and 22 touchdowns through the air.
