Horses to watch at the Barretts March select sale of 2-year-olds in training, based on their pedigrees, past auction performanc­es, and notable family members. Presale under-tack-show performanc­e, conformati­on, physical characteri­stics, veterinari­an records, and late pedigree updates were not taken into considerat­ion.

◗ Hip No. 33, b. f., Super Saver—Sister Girl Blues, by Hold for Gold, consigned by Wavertree Stables, agent.

A half-sister to Grade 3 winner and Kentucky Derby runner-up Firing Line. Sold for $200,000 at last year’s Keeneland September yearling sale.

◗ Hip No. 56, dk. b. or br. f., Archarchar­ch—Wild Forest

Cat, by D’wildcat, consigned by Sequel Bloodstock, agent.

Grade 3 winner Toews On Ice is a full sibling to this filly, who hails from the family of Grade 1 winner Jostle and Grade 3 winner Odyssey Moon. Her dam is a Grade 3-placed runner.

◗ Hip No. 70, b. c., Medaglia d’Oro—Bear Now, by Tiznow, consigned by Kings Equine, agent.

Bear Now, a Canadian champion, is from the family of Grade 2 winner Icecoldbee­ratreds. This colt sold for $65,000 at last year’s Keeneland September sale.

◗ Hip No. 81, dk. b. or br. c., Unusual Heat—Chi Chi Nette, by Ole’, consigned by Kings Equine, agent. All six of Chi Chi Nette’s runners are by Unusual Heat, and all are winners, including Grade 1-placed stakes winner Mensa Heat, stakes winner Majestic Heat, and stakesplac­ed Real Heat. Trainer Art Sherman bought this colt for $75,000 at last year’s Keeneland September sale.

◗ Hip No. 88, b. c., Candy Ride—Derwin’s Star, by Wildcat Heir, consigned by Wavertree Stables, agent.

The second foal out of Grade 3 winner Derwin’s Star, from the family of Grade 1 winner Carr de Naskra. He sold for $185,000 at last year’s Fasig-Tipton Saratoga select yearling sale.

◗ Hip No. 130, Jackster, ch. c., Giant’s Causeway— Miss Salsa, by Unbridled, consigned by Crane Thoroughbr­ed Services, agent. The unraced Miss Salsa’s six winners from eight runners include Grade 3 winner Pacific Ocean and stakes-placed Salsa Star, with an extended page that features champion Rhythm, Grade 1 winner Frost Giant, and notable sires Not For Love and Mutakddim. The colt sold for $25,000 at the Keeneland September sale.

◗ Hip No. 135, Fiftyshade­softapit, ch. c., Tapit— Lady of Fifty, by After Market, consigned by Wavertree Stables, agent.

The first foal out of Grade 1 winner Lady of Fifty and a $625,000 buyback from last year’s Fasig-Tipton Saratoga sale. A supplement­al entry to the catalog after scratching from the Fasig-Tipton Gulfstream select sale of 2-year-olds in training.
