FIRST RACE

With 2 of the 7 here eligible for N2L condition, it limits the number of contenders although still not much to choose from in opener. CUNAVICHE comes off best lazt race effort when narrowly defeated vs. same kind with winner running 3rd here Friday against open $6,250 platers. Must avoid early duel with turf specialist JE NE SAIS PAS who tries dirt for just the second time in his career. Turf Beyers makes him the one to beat if able to reproduce that type of effort on the main. MASS APPROVAL has been in the category for a long time, may be catching a big slower today but still hard to use for anything other than a minor share.

SECOND RACE

PUBLICIST at her best when loose on the lead as she should be in this spot if rider handles her aggressively from outset. Might not look back. LOOKIN FOR MONEY stuck in second gear at this time although last better than it might look on paper. Hanging sort still one to fear. LEGENDOFTHEKITTEN steps up to N3L off the claim and another solid effort on sod.

THIRD RACE

DANGER BAY showed some signs of life in recent half-mile drill, has the class to jump up and upset this group especially if taking advantage of inside post, hanging all the other speed types around the opening bend. JAIDEN’S BEST the obvious choice in present form and in dangerous hands off the claim although could be suspect if unable to make the lead as was the case last time. FENERBAHCE comes off a couple of good efforts for new connections, must avoid getting hung wide from outside gate at this distance.

FOURTH RACE

PEACE SPEAKER by Elusive Quality out of a SW mare showing promise in a.m. for top connections. Wouldn’t have to be much debuting here. MORE FRONT another with some good works on resume’ since transferring to Chad Brown stable. Been away a long time but still figures formidibly off the bench in this spot. VALDOCCO adds blinkers after dueling, fading late stretching to 7/8’s in latest. Barn has been dead of late.

FIFTH RACE

R LUCKY CHARM comes off a couple of improved tries at Tampa and with enough grass breeding to suggest she can handle the lawn, this bunch if she does. ZERO OUT lost best chance when bumped early, taken out of her game. Previous try oints her out as the one to fear. PIRA and Swapl both step up off N2L wins, the latter off a good ground saving trip in last. Might get similar set up here.

SIXTH RACE

ATENEA showed some speed before stopping badly launching U.S. career vs. stakes company now shows up for a tag off a series of decent works. Could step up with much improved showing today. OH KANDRITA broke a step slow, rushed up to duel through some sharp fractions before fading late in last, her first sub-par effort in five starts. May prove one to catch with a clean beginning. PENELOPES BEST down from TBD off decent showing behind in form Adios Cat. Was first across wire but DQ’d from apparant allowance win two back at Mountaineer. Should give Kandrita an early run for her money.

SEVENTH RACE

MY CELESTE has been away but getting ample class relief for return and work tab has been a good one. A question on the stretch but may have enough of a class edge to hold on for hot barn. HOLLYWOOD TOMCAT continues to show improvement, knocking on the door with these. One to beat. BE SURE LISA can be along for a minor share.

EIGHTH RACE

BEANTOWN SAINT showed a little improvement in the Silks Run, a race won in U.S. record time. Might be sitting on a big one today if able to work out a trip from the rail. Worth a look at big balloons. SUMMATION TIME winless in quite some time but hard to ignore at his best in this condition. BRANDY’S GIRL a filly against boys but might get loose on the lead, loom dangerous in her current form. Passion for Action the class of field and training super for return but may need a race at this abbeviated distance.

NINTH RACE

COMPAGNO gets much needed class relief for third race of current form cycle and enough pace to run down with expected improvement after racing back off slow splits last time. SO LONG CHUCK back for a tag, part of early mix, may ultimately prove one to catch. HARLAN’S QUEST another with plenty of speed returning to the lawn off main track sprint outing.

TENTH RACE

CHIA GHOST had no chance when overmatched in rapidly run Silks Run after getting hung out very wide into the stretch. In peak form coming into the race, has the right running style to take advantage of what figures to be an honest pace scenario. RIVZINTHEHOUSE got trapped in tough position last time in traffic, never had a chance to show best stuff, gets a mulligan returning vs. same kind. Should be out winging it early witth ZOOT SUIT

ELEVENTH RACE

OLIMPICO shows no published woriks since hatlered by present connections out of failed main track try. Back to what it appears he does best, may stand some catching if able to cleare off early from STONE HEART and others. Stone Heart outfinished top choice on 1/20, did hang badly last out when unable to get by ultimate winner who drifted badly at the end. GODS GREATNESS comes off best returing to favorite surface, should come running again for another share.
