Horses to watch at the Barretts May sale of 2-year-olds in training, based on their pedigrees, past auction performanc­es, and notable family members. Presale under-tack-show performanc­e, conformati­on, physical characteri­stics, veterinari­an records, and late pedigree updates were not taken into considerat­ion.

Hip No. 18, b. c., Munnings—La Treizieme, by French Deputy, consigned by Havens Bloodstock, agent.

A sibling to four winners from as many runners out of the unraced La Treizieme, including stakes winner Rockford and stakes-placed Advance Ticket.

Hip No. 24, b. f., Dialed In—Lady in Waiting, by Woodman, consigned by Excel Bloodstock, agent.

Stakes-placed Lady in Waiting has had 10 winners from 12 starters, including Grade 3 winner Kid Grindstone and Irish stakes-placed Acciacatur­a. Her second dam is champion Princess Rooney.

This colt is a half-brother to stakes winners Restless Youth and Charming Colleen.

Stakes winner Strong Wind and stakesplac­ed Tribal Face are full siblings to this filly.

Hip No. 84, dk. b. or br. c., Scat Daddy— Starfish Bay, by Elusive Quality, consigned by Kings Equine, agent.

Multiple stakes winner Starfish Bay is the dam of two winners from three runners, and Grade 3 winner Crystal Moment is in the extended family. The colt sold for $150,000 at last year’s Keeneland September yearling sale.
