BEST BET: RACE 3, KINGHOOD

FIRST RACE

The usual suspects are back in the opener with trip likely deciding the outcome. LOOKIN FOR MONEY tried to rally through some tight quarters on the rail when second brest under similar conditions on 5/28 but a very consistent sort who may also have a speed edge in this relatively paceless race if hustled along from outset. WHO’S THAT CHICK finished best of all behind VOW ME OVER in group’s previous encounter and in pretty good form at the present time. Vow Me over losgical after beating same bunch with a perfect trip last out, stays put off the claim today.

SECOND RACE

HOLLYWOOD TOMCAT drops to weakest level yet after being overmatched and hung wide from tough post lasta time. Will have to beat ATLANTIC SUNRISE who looks too logical on the drop to this level. Figures loose on an easy lead but suspicious on the drop and with five weeks between published works. SILVER SASSY back to the lawn, taken to best the others.

THIRD RACE

KINGHOOD, the day’s best, dueled, faded late while totally overmatched last time now in with N2L’s for the first time, should get back on winning track if tripping out as hoped chasing Dreamy Martini. MORE ALEX back to his favorite surface and one to beat at his best although a very poor gate horse who must not lose too much ground at the beginning if he’s to run down the leaders. PORTER STREET earned high marks on graduation day, steps up vs. winners for first time but must respect in current form.

FOURTH RACE

GRAN IDENTIDAD comes off career best from a Beyer standpoint and well posted inside today at this distance. May have to run down GOTSOMEMOJO who has a lot going for him dropping off the claim, adding blinkers and breaking from advantageous post with Tyler G. aboard. Likely one to catch in paceless affair. HY QUALITY PRINCE has tailed off some of late but those races on wet tracks. Beat thius same kind with a good number on 5/7.

FIFTH RACE

PROMISCUOUS FORCE back with N2L’s after stepping in vs. N3L opposition, holding her own in local bow while showing improvement with blinkers on. BEAUTYOFADAY back to the turf and Gaffalione stays. Looks like one to beat. FLYING DUDE gets a bit of a weight break with double bug taking the call. Has been competitive in all recent starts with this kind.

SIXTH RACE

Strictly a speed play here with JACOB who looks loose on an easy lead dropping to the bottom while making third start of his current form cycle. Will likely have to hold off KNOCKOUT RANGER whose effort two back on dry land, this distance, makes him one to fear. BITE THE BIT ran well enough for this tag at Tampa to demand respect with one over the track.

SEVENTH RACE

MR. SAM continues to improve, especially since addition of blinkers. Might just handle the hike to next condition in current form. WEEZA GONE

GRAY continues to run well at this leel but must avoid potential early conflict with another in form rival Road Warrior Max. STARSHIP ROCKY working lights out for his return. Has been gelded since previous try. Might wake up at a price off the bench. YEEHAW gets bull make over, blinks and Lasix for second start and main track bow. Should benefit from the experience first out when chasing home Pletcher trained, 3-5 firster Dial One. GOODY also chased a couple of quick ones in his bow and another who should move forward from that effort. ARISTTELES looks best of the new ones off recent a.m. trials. Appears to have a turn of foot from looks of some of those bullet 3/8’s at GPW.

NINTH RACE

NUTTY BOY ran near career best effort when last catching a fast track despite wide trip two back. Taken to run down the leaders including ERICH’S TALISMAN who proved no match for preferred choice late after dueling ultimate winner in their previous meeting. PROUD ENOUGH not as sharp as he was earlier this winter but back where he belongs, might come running late off what figures to be a pretty honest pace.

TENTH RACE

MR ATILA continues to improve while catching some solid company incuding Pletcher’s odds on Al Khor when second best on 5/27. Will probably offer a little value behind another Pletcher duo, HY BRASIL and ITSABIGBOY today. Former finished several lengths in front of preferred choice in their previous meeting, although latter had some traffic issues that day. Still knocking on the door with this kind. Itsabigboy a $250K yearling buy with several bullets on the resume’ in preparation for his bow. Green Mansions comes off improved effort in the slop, working well, likely to try to take these as far as he can go on front end.

ELEVENTH RACE

DISCO MAN back to grass after not wanting any part of main track last time. Ran well enough behind More Alex 3 back to merit shaky nod to run down leaders on turn back to 5/8’s. DOMENIC obviously knocking at the door while in top form at the present time. Was 2nd best behind 7/5 winner last time. ROLLIN ran well but no match for first time turfer Francseco Fishing in latest but looks like he’s sitting on a winning try here.
