UNI came from Europe and made a smart first impression, rallying well for third for new trainer Chad Brown, who continues on a tear. With that run under her belt she figures fitter and tougher. (2)

SALTY couldn’t handle the top 3-year-old dirt distance filly (Abel Tasman) in her last few but still showed ample quality and doesn’t have to deal with that rival this time. NEW MONEY HONEY has made her name on turf but she’s bred for dirt and hails from a hot barn. She’s won at this 10-furlong trip (on turf). ELATE gave top filly Abel Tasman fits in the CCA Oaks last month and appears ready to deliver on the promise she showed early in her career. (3)

If the real ARROGATE shows up the rest are running for second. But after his San Diego dud that’s the $64,000 question. The good news is he’s worked strongly since and all the right vibes are coming from trainer Bob Baffert. ACCELERATE was smashing beating ARROGATE in the San Diego so he comes here in peak form and obviously loves this place as he’s a perfect three-forthree here. His speed will have him involved from the bell. (2)

CON TE PARTIRO looked super beating quality rivals in England June 21. In fact, the runner-up Rain Goddess has since been twice Group 1 placed and was well regarded enough to get a shot at least week’s Grade 1 Beverly D. vs. elders. MADAM DANCEALOT showed some impression late oomph as she bided her time before blowing past her rivals to take the Grade 2 San Clement here. She looks like the real deal. DREAM DANCING didn’t do much in the Grade 3 Lake George at Saratoga last month but a return to her prior form would make her scary. (3)
