ANALYSIS

- BEST BET: RACE 5, JOHN’S LEGACY

FIRST RACE

The card is led by a two-other-than allowance at a mile on turf that drew half-siblings Mav Master and Blanco Grande. Bot horses are from the multiple stakes-winning mare Annie Savoy. In the opener, TIME TO FIGHT has natural speed and a post that might give McNeil options. He also owns the field’s best last-race Beyer Figure. STICKINW ITHTHEGUYS represented himself well last out in his first start against winners. WAJNA SURPRISE gets back with statebreds following a solid fourth last out in his first start against winners, which came at Canterbury.

SECOND RACE

DA STREEKIN MO made the move to both two turns and turf last time and popped a career-high Beyer Figure. He also is appealing for the age edge he has on some of these. UNBRIDLED ENCORE split the field last out when facing steeper. A drawback is the wide gate. BENTLEY’S SHOW is appealing for his natural speed and the fact that he faced steeper last out. He also draws a useful post. The race AMERICAN THUNDER exits has produced three next-out winners.

THIRD RACE

GRASS COURT draws the widest post, but he has natural speed and is further appealing for his consistent nature. PAGANOL gives up recency to these as he has not seen action since June 2016, but what he lacks there he makes up for in class as one who has spent his career facing steeper. BAD TO THE BONE BLAKE should be sharp for the move back to two turns, where he is a winner, following the seventh-eighths score at Evangeline.

FOURTH RACE

K KIDDO gets a shot with Oklahoma-breds for the first time after launching his career earlier this year at Prairie Meadows. He was stakes-placed in restricted company in Iowa and owns the field’s best last-race Beyer Figure. Also like that K KIDDO is a half-brother to Gleaming, a multiple stakes winner of $381K. K KASH needs pace to fuel his run and he could get a decent setup behind a few of these. He is a half-brother to Picou, a multiple stakes winner of $244K. TOUCH ‘EM UP is back in the overnight ranks for what is his first out since November.

FIFTH RACE

JOHN’S LEGACY was fourth last out in a race that has become a key one, with the runner-up coming back to take a $7,500 maiden claimer at Ellis with a Beyer Figure of 54 and the fifth-place finisher, Mucho Mas Grande, another $7,500 maiden claimer at Ellis, with a Beyer of 51. FANTASTIC FLAIR has an age edge on top choice as he is 4. This one also exits a key race. The winner came back in his next start to account for a $15K conditioned claimer at RP, with a Beyer of 68, and the fourth-place finisher, Colour My World, a $5K maiden claimer at Gil, with a Beyer of 40. JUMPING JIVE makes his turf debut for a stallion who is getting 8 percent winners from his first-time turfers and 10 percent winners overall on the grass.

SIXTH RACE

LEDECKYGOLD ran a promising race in her career debut and would seem to have reason to move forward for the experience of an out. DYLAN DID IT exits same race as top choice and for this trip will add blinkers, a high percentage move for Villafranco. OLETA INEZ is a January foal who brings good speed to the table.

SEVENTH RACE

LIKE A COWBOY and SILENT LION SONG both
