COMPLETELY BONKERS and JUST FOOLIN AROUND ran into a buzzsaw when catching the red hot Kroy in their last starts, not facing that type of opposition in toda’s opener. Might vie for major prize if this one goes as scheduled on the turf. COLLECTIVE WISDOM back to more suitable spot and would likely be the major beneficiary should this one move to the main track.

SECOND RACE

RORAIMA turns back an eighth, might be able to reverse recent setback in rematch with I’M REALLY SUMTHIN. Taken to sit and stalk the inside speed. I’m Really Sumthin has won this category several times in the past including at the expense of Roraima when sitting off the pace, rallying late at a mile. Might catch similar set up today. RECENT TRANSACTIONS one of several speed horses in the lineup but in good form at the present time and certainly more than capable at the distance.

THIRD RACE

R LIMO JOE turned in sharp try when back to the turf in the Jupiter Beach when second best behind red hot Brandy’s Girl. Might not get caught here. .EXTRAVAGANT KID like preferred choice good to go turf or dirt, exits perhaps his best yet in the Tamiami but returning on short rest, must not bounce at a much shorter price this time around. BLACKJACK BABY got hung wide, could not impact the leaders in the Jupiter Beach to snap fouor race win streak. Taken to run late for at least a minor share with a little cleaner sailing today.

FOURTH RACE

CURLIN’S APPROVAL hard to gauge on occasion but tough to look past even at the short price in this relatively soft spot. Should heavy fave falter, MONEY OR LOVE could be the best alternative shortening up to 7/8’s off a bit of a disappointing try going a mile in the Sea of Grass. LIRICA a pretty consistent sort, should come running for a piece.

FIFTH RACE

With likely favorite Never Burn a Copy winless in 19 tries, why not look for another alternative so trying SOULIOTIS, one of a surprising four first time starters to enter this bottom level two turn turf event for maidens. Barn can have one ready off the bench and reaches out for its first call rider today. NEVER BURN A COPY the logical choice in lieu of his several near misses at this level but hard to play with any confidence considering his 0 for 19 career mark. SKIMBO another new face debuting in weak spot and is kin to turf winner Greek Flower.

SIXTH RACE

ABOUNDING LEGACY looked like a horse who might have needed his last, especially at a mile, off an eight week layoff. Turns back to a more effective distance, taken to run down the speed with a little forward move. HY RIVERSIDE idle since May and winless since February but seems to be training well for his return and more than capable at 7/8’s. Another who would benefit if CORONADO AGAIN and Splash Rules throw it down early at a distance at which both are a little suspect to boot.

SEVENTH RACE

ANIMAL KINGSTON, the day’s best, debuts off a steady series of works up north including a nice half-mile in company with impressive debut Spa winner Mojovation earlier this summer. Need only handle the green to score at first asking launching career against this average looking bunch. NEW ATLAS showing improvement in last from tough post, better drawn for third start of his form cycle. May prove one to fear. COMETIN likewise exits his

best yet and well posted on the rail.

EIGHTH RACE

Old friends CHISELED and CHEPSTOW may prove the ones to beat in this spot, former getting the shaky nod from off what could be a contested pace. CHEPSTOW rarely runs a poor one and obviously moves up on a wet track. DIAMOND BACHELOR has done the bulk of his campaigning on turf but can handle dirt as well, figures part of early mix while re-uniting with favorite pilot today.

NINTH RACE

Like the previous race, a couple of familiar rivals, PERFECT TAY and D’CRAZINESS may duke it out for the top prize especially if this one goes as carded on turf. Perfect Tay a bit of a hanging sort thus far this year but could benefit from likely pace scenario, get his nose down in time for Tyler G. D’Craziness also hard to fault in his present form and well drawn inside the other speed types. GAULTIER also on a roll of late having won three straight against slightly softer company. Not much to choose between many in this lineup.

TENTH RACE

If finale stays on turf, DUROCHER gets the nod coming off another solid effort behind likes of in form Kroy. Should be able to work out winning trip from inside draw. LOVE CONQUERS defeated preferred choice in their previous encounter and another who would likely benefit from what figures to be a hot pace. GENERAL MCGOOBY wheels back in one week after obviously wanting no part of the wet main track in the Bear’s Den but does his best when loose on the lead. May not see the top so readily with these.
