BEST BET: RACE 3, WALTERJEEP

FIRST RACE

Just taking a shot with some of the young, lightly raced and up and coming runners in the field and giving MISS AMERICAIN a whirl at what figures to be a square price stepping up off nice maiden win at a mile and one sixteenth when rating her speed, rallying from off pace to tally in her 4th start. Came back and worked bullet on dirt for this. SISTER DRAMA likewise exits a big maiden score in just her fifth start and been given ample time to recuperate from the try. Expecting another forward move. LEXI’S DOLL ran well on the dirt last time now returns to her favrite surface and another who’d likely benefit from an honest pace.

SECOND RACE

JOSH’S PRISM and KALAMA a couple of new faces to very weak category and one of the pair figures to earn diploma off the bench. Former from potent barn and exiting a couple of bullets at GPW. Kalama worked a near bullet half from the gate in preparation for his bow. TRI COTTON flashed speed, paid price late at first asking, eligible to improve if not getting smoke early by one of the newbies.

THIRD RACE

WALTERJEEP, the day’s best, got hammered in an early speed duel last time but looks loose as he pleases today. Should not look back. SOUTHERN CAL turned in big career bow around two turns many months ago and with a limited work tab in preparation for return. Likely been legging up on the farm somewhere and by all rights should not be allowed to run without additional workouts on resume’ . MR. BELL drops to the bottom returning from a nine month hiatus, has shown some gas in the a.m. Toss turf bow when roughed badly out of the gate.

FOURTH RACE

Looks like the pace should be a hot one here which might just help the in form COXSWAIN take another on turn back to 3/4’s. Figures to sit nice trip, be coming late at this distance. J B QUICK shortens from 7F to 6F, a modus operandi that produced a career best 96 Beyer effort this spring. Owns win over the track, must prove he can rate and punch home with speedsters Doctor J Dub and Off Duty in this lineup. MORE APPLAUSE re-claimed by Luna barn and another capable of running late from off the strong pace.

FIFTH RACE

ELIZABETH’S VOW returns to turf, gets ample class relief, taken to be along in time at this level if not needing one off the bench. BUY TWAY MAY earned career best Beyer trying turf for the first time on 9/1, also drops to more suitable spot here. KARLIES BABY a new face to this weak category and with some breeding for the lawn although runners from this barn almost always need one at first asking.

SIXTH RACE

MILBRA already a four time winner, beat this same kind pretty handily last time and just catch enough pace to be along once again with repeat of most recent try.INDIAN CHASER an 8 time winner well spotted via the non-winners of a race since April condition in this one. Back to dirt, just a question of what shape he’s in at the present time with not much on the work tab in quite some time. JUST BEFORE has not shown much since returning from a one year hiatus this summer but caught slop the first time, ran turf the second and got bothered at the break in most recent outing. Might be worth giving one more try at the price with this kind.
