Race 7

JESS PAINT YOUR LIPS continues to sizzle. She’s won six of her seven starts including a stakes at Lone Star last time out. She’s the one to beat. TIME FOR WINE likewise comes here sharp, having won her last three. Those came in the spring and she hasn’t been seen in over four months but she’s fired big before off the bench. (2)

Race 8

SC VAPOR TRAIL blossomed this summer at Los Alamitos, winning her last two. She figures tough off the freshening. TEMPTING ANNEE GI has rattled off three straight wins including an easy victory over stakes foes at Will Rogers last month. APOLLITICAL APPROACH has been freshened since some sharp work at Ruidoso this spring/summer and must be respected. JD WAGON BOSS has won all three career starts. This is a tougher spot to be sure but he’s obviously got speed and talent. VALLERRO comes off three straight wins, the last two on this track. (5)

Race 9

DAUNS FIRST DESIRIO continues his strong work having won three straight here last month (was disqualified from one of those). He has fine speed and has never been better. GENUINE VERSION appears to be improving. His last two against stakes foes at Los Alamitos make him a good fit here back in vs. 3-year-olds only. (2)

Race 10

FLASH N BLING has been knocking heads with some real toughies and more than holding holding his own. He has speed and versatility. MR. PYC TO YOU was a sharp second to ‘BLING at Los Alamitos Aug. 13 before a troubled run there Sept. 3. With a better start he can surely be a factor. AJS HIGH looked super romping in a Grade 2 here Sept. 16 and loves this place (8 for 11 here). AIR FORCE WON has done nothing but fire bullets the past 16 months and figures a top threat. (4)
