SEVENTH RACE

Many of the usual suspects line up in this one but CHARLIE’S SECRET, the day’s best, a new face to the category getting ample class relief to get her back to the winner’s circle with this group. LOVING VALENTINA one of a couple of speed types in the lineup and hard to gauge from start to start especially having caught wet track in each of her last four tries. Has shown promise over this course and has more wins on her resume’ than any other member of the field. CINDY’S CANDY a late running sort who might relish the stretch back to 6 1/2 furlongs despite poor showing two back at the distance over a sloppy strip. Expect her to come running for at least a share.

EIGHTH RACE

Main track only entrant LI’L MEATBALL obviously would be nicely spotted if this one moves to the dirt. Is two for three over this strip. FAST FLYING RUMOR making just third start of year and second of current form cycle. Blew out nicely for this and capable of good things here no matter the surface. HOLD ON SMOKEY continues to hold his form pretty well at the age of 12 and another capable on turf or dirt. Can’t leave out of the equation.

NINTH RACE

One of those categories where anything can and usually does happen. Going with DINO DUDE off career best effort making his first start around two turns. Might not look back with that one under belt. STAY AGAIN has some speed of his own, finished a couple of lengths behind preferred one in their previous encounter. Could reverse decision depending upon the trips. SEEKING FAST has been in the trifecta in each of his last three tries on grass, hard to leave out of the equation should this one go as scheduled over inner.
