BEST BET: RACE 7, BROADWAY STICKER

FIRST RACE

COLE CAMP ran a strong race last out when fourth in his first start of the year, and the race came over a mile. He picks up more ground second start back and gets good pedigree support for the added real estate. COLE CAMP also has an age edge on some of his chief rivals as he is 4. ARCH OF AGES has moved forward with each of his starts and seems due to graduate soon. He also owns what ranks as this field’s best last-race Beyer Figure. FLASH FORCAST ran a solid third in his debut, which came at a mile, and his pedigree suggests he will appreciate the added ground he gets on the move to a mile and a sixteenth.

SECOND RACE

IRISH CAPITAL leaves statebreds behind, but is well-spotted as he moves back into the claiming ranks. Earlier this year, he regularly faced eventual Oklahoma Classics Sprint winner Eurobond. CANNINGTON shortens up some to the distance of his best recent finish. SCORE TIME draws another extreme post, getting the 11-hole one start after breaking from the rail at Remington.

THIRD RACE

POINT AT Z BABY was an odds-on favorite against similar last time and owns one of the field’s best collections of Beyer Speed Figures. HENYETTA is a fresh face as she is making her first start since January, but what she lacks in recency she makes up for in class as she has regularly faced steeper. HOBBS HOPE was beaten a length for everything last out when facing similar and is a logical choice back.

FOURTH RACE

DONITA’S RULER and BLING ON THE MUSIC are class plays as both have been facing steeper. DONITA’S RULER exits a quick edition of the Flashy Lady, while BLING ON THE MUSIC is making her first start since finishing fourth in a stakes at Delta Downs last October. COMPOSE is chasing her fifth straight win and career victory No. 13. She owns the field’s best last-race Beyer Figure.

FIFTH RACE

JOHN’S LEGACY has been knocking on the door for this price and seems due to graduate soon. He seems best served with pace to fuel his run and it appears he could get the setup he needs. STOLEN CANDY must overcome the wide gate, but he has natural speed. He also owns some of the field’s best turf Beyer Figures. KINGS WISH has been racing at Keeneland.

SIXTH RACE

TIED UP - by the stallion Even the Score - has shown good speed in her starts and has the look of a runner on the improve. EXOTIC BEAUTY cuts back to one turn and for the distance move could be making her case in the later stages. CHAMPAGNE BLING fits with these.

SEVENTH RACE

BROADWAY STICKER gets a shot with Oklahomabreds after spending part of her year in Louisiana. She also draws a post that might give Laviolette options. LADY LONDON has been in the zone of late and could be sitting on a peak race in what will mark her third out since July. CALICO STAR ran a big race on the cutback from two turns to one last out, when a fast-closing second. She could be even sharper here, in her second straight sprint start.

EIGHTH RACE

JAMES AND COMPANY seeks to make it three in

a row and is well-spotted for the task at hand. He also has a useful stalking style, and owns the field’s best last-race turf Beyer Figure. MY VALIDATION was second in a quick race last out, when facing higher-priced claiming rivals. CURLINO exits same race as top choice. The start was his first over the local course as he had been based in Kentucky and Louisiana.

NINTH RACE

SITBACKRELAXENJOY was third last out to a return winner. ALARM SYSTEM owns the field’s best last-race Beyer Figure. NO WAY OUT dominated the N2L crowd last out at Remington.
