This filly is from prominent sire Empire Maker’s first crop since being repatriated from Japan. She is out of Canadian champion Roxy Gap, whose first foal is wellregarded juvenile winner Sly Roxy.

This is the first crop for Triple Crown winner American Pharoah. Grade 3 winner Untouched Talent is the dam of dual classic-placed Grade 1 winner Bodemeister, who produced Kentucky Derby winner Always Dreaming in his first crop, and Grade 1-placed Fascinating. Bodemeister is bred on the same cross as this filly.

The multiple graded stakes winner is expected to be one of the favorites for the Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint. She traces directly to the highly influential Best in Show, a family responsible for broodmares such as Blush With Pride and Better Than Honour.

She is by an outstanding filly sire and emerging broodmare sire. Her Grade 2-winning dam’s daughters already include graded stakes producer Wide Range.

Tepin was the Eclipse Award champion turf female of 2015, when she won the Breeders’ Cup Mile, and 2016, when she became the first American to win the Queen Anne at Royal Ascot.
