Following are horses to watch during the Fasig-Tipton November sale. Horses were selected based on their pedigrees, racing records, and/or past auction results of notable family members.

Hip 27, weanling filly by Empire Maker – Roxy Gap, by Indian Charlie. Consigned by St. George Sales, agent

This filly is from prominent sire Empire Maker’s first crop since being repatriate­d from Japan. She is out of Canadian champion Roxy Gap, whose first foal is wellregard­ed juvenile winner Sly Roxy.

Hip 28, weanling filly by Honor Code – Royal Irish Lass, by Saint Ballado. Consigned by Jim and Pam Robinson’s Brandywine Farm

This is the first crop for regally bred champion Honor Code. This filly is a halfsister to Grade 3 winner Royal Mo and stakes winner Tara From The Cape.

Hip 46, weanling filly by American Pharoah – Untouched Talent, by Storm Cat. Consigned by Eaton Sales, agent

This is the first crop for Triple Crown winner American Pharoah. Grade 3 winner Untouched Talent is the dam of dual classic-placed Grade 1 winner Bodemeiste­r, who produced Kentucky Derby winner Always Dreaming in his first crop, and Grade 1-placed Fascinatin­g. Bodemeiste­r is bred on the same cross as this filly.

The only Medaglia d’Oro weanling in the catalog, she is a half-sister to multiple Grade 1 winner Miss Temple City and Grade 3 winner Pricedtope­rfection.

Mesa Fresca, offered in foal to popular commercial sire War Front, is the dam of Grade 1 winner Harmonize. Out of a full sister to Grade 2 winners Tara Roma and Waldoboro, she is a half-sister to the dam of Grade 2 winner Al Khali. It is the family of champion Queena and Grade 1 winners Chic Shirine, Verrazano, and Somali Lemonade.

This stakes winner, who sold for $1.35 million as a yearling, is out of multiple Grade 1-winning millionair­e Hollywood Story, also the dam of Grade 2-placed Hollywood Star and stakes-placed Hoorayforh­ollywood.

This mare is consigned carrying a full sibling to her champion juvenile Classic Empire. She also is the dam of stakes winners Anytime Magic and Uptown Twirl.

Sarah Lynx, winner of the Grade 1 Canadian Internatio­nal, fetched $2.6 million when she went through this sale three years ago. Her lone starter is a winner.

The multiple graded stakes winner is expected to be one of the favorites for the Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint. She traces directly to the highly influentia­l Best in Show, a family responsibl­e for broodmares such as Blush With Pride and Better Than Honour.

Hip 120, Songbird, broodmare prospect by Medaglia d’Oro – Ivanavinal­ot, by West Acre. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent for Fox Hill Farm

Songbird was the Eclipse Award champion 2-year-old filly of 2015 and 3-year-old filly of 2016, winning nine Grade 1 races, including the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies, Coaching Club American Oaks, and Alabama and earning more than $4.6 million. She is by an outstandin­g filly sire and emerging broodmare sire. Her Grade 2-winning dam’s daughters already include graded stakes producer Wide Range.

Hip 130, Tepin (Curlin), broodmare by Bernstein – Life Happened, by Stravinsky. Consigned by Elite Sales, agent for Robert Masterson

Tepin was the Eclipse Award champion turf female of 2015, when she won the Breeders’ Cup Mile, and 2016, when she became the first American to win the Queen Anne at Royal Ascot. The $4.4 million earner is out of Broodmare of the Year finalist Life Happened, whose other runners include millionair­e Vyjack.

Hip 133, Wild Forest (Union Rags), broodmare by Forest Wildcat – Uforia, by Zilzal. Consigned by Lane’s End, agent

The unraced mare is offered carrying a full sibling to her multiple Grade 1 winner Paradise Woods. She also is the dam of stakes winner Forest Chatter, bred on a similar cross. She is a half-sister to multiple Grade 3/Group 3 winner Tajaweed, and it is the family of champion and Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense and sire Mr. Greeley.
