BOOK 1 HORSES TO WATCH AT KEENELAND NOVEMBER

Following are horses to watch during Book 1 of the Keeneland November breeding stock sale, which covers the first two sessions. Horses were selected based on their pedigrees, racing records, and past auction results for themselves or notable family members.

DAY 1

Hip No. 30, Cathryn Sophia, b. m., 2013, Street Boss—Sheave, by Mineshaft, consigned Bedouin Bloodstock, agent

The 2016 Kentucky Oaks winner is offered in foal to Pioneerof the Nile, a year after selling for $1.4 million at the FasigTipto­n November sale.

This Grade 1 winner sold as a broodmare prospect for $2 million at the 2013 Fasig-Tipton November sale and is offered in foal to Pioneerof the Nile.

The third foal out of Joyful Victory and a member of the first crop from Triple Crown winner American Pharoah.

Hip No. 81, Life At Ten, ch. m., 2005, Malibu Moon—Rahrahsixb­oombah, by Rahy, property of Adena Springs

A multiple Grade 1 winner whose two runners are both winners, including Grade 2-placed Singing Bullet. She is in foal to Shacklefor­d and sells with a 2018 no-guarantee season to Ghostzappe­r.

Hip No. 82, ch. f., 2017, American Pharoah— Life At Ten, by Malibu Moon, property of Adena Springs

This Ontario-bred is the fifth foal out of Life At Ten and a half-sister to Grade 2-placed Singing Bullet.

Hip No. 105, b. f., 2017, Tapit—My Conquestad­ory, by Artie Schiller, consigned by Bedouin Bloodstock, agent

The second foal out of Grade 1 winner and $1.5 million broodmare My Conquestad­ory. A full brother brought $410,000 at last year’s Keeneland November sale.

The champion 3-year-old filly of 2015, a six-time Grade 1 winner, and contender for this year’s Breeders’ Cup Distaff.

An unraced half-sister to Horse of the Year Havre de Grace that brought $1.7 million as a yearling and is in foal to Curlin for her second pregnancy.

The most expensive horse of the 2015 Keeneland January horses of all ages sale, hammering for $2.2 million. The Irish Group 2 winner sells pregnant to Pioneerof the Nile.

A Grade 1 winner who sold as a broodmare prospect for $800,000 at last year’s Fasig-Tipton November sale. She is offered in foal to Medaglia d’Oro.
