EIGHTH RACE

BULL E WINKLE a pretty consistent sort from a Beyer standpoint of late and six furlongs appears to be his most effective distance. Comes off a couple of unlucky starts but could make amends with a little better luck from the gate. JOURNEY’S END plummets to the bottom although best main track races have been in weaker “off the turf” events. Still much respect with this kind. HORSE SPOTTER CARL got involved early, faded late while frankly showing unexpected speed in latest. Figures more effective if taking back, making one run here although obviously somewhat of a hanging type by the look of those two 2nd place finishes earlier in the fall. .

NINTH RACE

NEW ATLAS turns back to a sprint for the first time, exits a couple of sharp inner works at PM, looks ready to graduate if able to work out clear sailing from off the pace in here. HE’S TRUE BREW a good second out of the box at Indiana and the best bred of these for surface being kin to several turf stakes types including Dozzy Capital and Spun Cap. SCOTUSCARE by Kantharos and likely to take to the going in turf bow. Has the speed to be dangerous today if he does.

TENTH RACE

MIGHTY PATIENT does not have the Beyer power of many in here but lightly raced filly knows how to win and is a closer in a field loaded with speed. Can be along at what might even be a little price for this barn. COQUIVACOA like preferred choice already a three time winner and won this condition across town in September.
