ANALYSIS
BEST BET: RACE 4, WIGGLE IT JIGGLEIT
FIRST RACE
MAJESTIC MIST gets slight edge having shown improvement since being switched to turf for high profile barn. Figures on our with pace throughout over a course favoring horses with that running style of late. OUR PRECIOUS also projects close up from outset returning to grass, getting ample class relief today. Ran bang up third in lone inner try to launch career in May. MY LITTLE PRINCESS owns a win over the course exiting best y et against softer bunch of N2L’s just two weeks earlier.
SECOND RACE
STAR JUANCHO ran winning effort last time only to fall victim to late run from well meant Jason Servis firster American Power. Was easily second best while showing improvement over bow, need only improve again to graduate if none of the new faces have any real talent. May have to beat a couple of others from Servis barn, AMATTEROFTIME and UNCLE POCKETS, both by good to above average debut sires, the former out of a stakes winning m are of more than $350K. Tabbing board for clues to this one.
THIRD RACE
BABY ISABELLA was rated off ridiculously slow pace when washed off the grass for local bow, gets a second chance if back on favorite venue. Best good enough to beat these. TRIP THE QUEEN logical off near miss last time despite extended pace duel although now a beaten favorite twice running at this level. SPUNZIG can grab minor share again.
FOURTH RACE
WIGGLE IT JIGGLEIT second best after burnt out in race long speed battle last time, looks loose as can be in this spot. Should not look back. BEAUTIFUL ALLY goes turf to dirt, ran well enough to back to loom one to fear. TAVRIDA obviously seems best on wet tracks but must respect off last couple of improved showings.
FIFTH RACE
DOM THE BOMB quick enough to lead these a merry chase from the rail over speed favoring strip if away running from outset. Won for twice this tag not long ago at Parx. TEXAS RUSTLER knocking on the door with this kind but has struggled to find winner’s circle this season. ZIPI ZAPE another winless on the year but capable of running on late to grab a share turning back to five furlongs off steady diet of long races.
SIXTH RACE
Many new faces makes this one tough to figure on paper. YES SIREE by above average debut sire yes It’s True out of a mare who earned six figures during her career. Shows a couple of promising works at PM in preparation for bow. STRIKING HEIR another with some big works on the resume’ although wasn’t as impressed with latest move. Does have some breeding to recommend chances out of box by Wildcat Heir and a half to $530K earning, multiple graded SP You Bought. C’ERA UNA VOLTA turned in good looking debut albeit against a field that hasn’t really panned out in the interim. Showed his speed in most recent work but perhaps a bit vulnerable at short price on the return.
SEVENTH RACE
DIAMOND PLAY has shown some real promise from limited opportunities on grass and figures to trip out nicely behind the speed in this one. Best puts him back in winner’s circle in south Fla. bow. SOUTHERN SIS owns a win and a second over the local strip, exits best yet vs. softer, must avoid potentially disastrous speed duel with stretch out sprinter Curlin’s Image. KRAZY KATHY comes off big try vs. similar when narrowly missing after rallying from rear of pack, which is a style that has not been panning out too well over this course of late. Gaffalione stays, logical again at a short price.
