BEST BET: RACE 6, GOLDEN AGE

FIRST RACE

ANGELINA’S HEAVEN has a nice even running style that might bode well for two turns. One of two siblings is a multiple winner when routing while the other is 9-0-4-2 for 67K. This filly debuted locally but broke last and then was stuck 5 wide but still managed to beat over half the field home. Her follow up try at Santa Anita was decent when she again beat over half the field home. TAYLOREALSWIFT didn’t care for a turf route in her debut but that is understandable. She just ran better when trying a flat mile on the dirt for the first time and that was with some trouble and pulling early. The one to beat. MILLIE JOEL has some speed even if the blinkers come OFF. Main knock is that this barn is 0 for 26 in routes.

SECOND RACE

ALWAYS NEVER stretches out from 870 with a confidence boost in hand. We think he can clear this group and get that all important early breather. A good post that is inside but yet isn’t stuck on the rail. When he tried this down and distance three back he never got a breather. SMARTY MOON is the value. We liked that maiden breaker at Pleasanton only two back. He was stuck wide in his most recent while facing first time winners. THE NATURAL just figures. Recent Beyers are better than all. Off the pace style hurts a little as there isn’t much pace in this race. MT. LEINSTER will take money.

THIRD RACE

POCKET PERSONALITY did cost 130K but now is a gelding and maybe that explains debut level. His sire gets 14% debut winners. His dam was un-raced. Two of four sibs won with the best going 22-4-5-2 for 71K. Works are perfect for team Eurton (22% with debut maiden claimers). CLIFTON BEACH broke poorly 3 and 4 back. He pushed the pace until his most recent where he passed runners. We like horses that do something different and get good results. Don’t forget the good price. BELOVED HOLIDAY has had trouble at the start in three straight. Decent Beyers nonetheless. Form cycle hints at better while this barn is 29% with debut types (small sample size). BROODING RUSSIAN is by a 13% debut sire. His dam was un-raced. Of 5 sibs to race, 3 won and all 3 beat winners. The two best are 10-2-3-0 for 107K and 12-3-3-0 for 48K. LEAGUE OF SHADOWS is by a 11% debut sire. His dam went 8-1-2-2 for 15K and this is her first foal.

FOURTH RACE

STERLING WAGER has hit the board in all three of his local tries. The class drop into restricted foes can only help. His last race came back key when 4 of 5 returned to finish either 1st or 2nd (1st Beyers of 70 and 59 and 2nd of 68 and 57). A stalking trip behind 3 speeds is a big plus. AJAC is the inside speed. Second off the medium layoff is a 2 for 7 move for this barn. JUSTONETIMEBABY is the outside speed. This gelding does have some back class.

FIFTH RACE

DESERT DOMINATION could clear off early and does go third off the layoff. The Miller barn is 27% with their maiden claimers and they show a flat bet profit. Notice that this gelding was quicker than SKAGIT RIVER in their common race on the October 28th. FAST JOHNNY RINGO is by a 1 for 19 debut sire His dam went 34-4-6-3 for 80K. Two of three sibs won with both having beat winners (42-13-8-5 for 116K and 22-3-8-3 for 115K). The Ellis barn is 50% with debut maiden claimers. SHARP RULER is by a 7% debut sire (all sire stats are for 2YO’s only). His dam won her only start and banked 39K. This is her first foal. DEVILINRED is by a 1 for 9 debut sire. His dam went 12-0-1-0 for 6K and this is her first foal. ROCINANTE is by a 11% debut sire. His dam went 5-1-0-2 for 31K. Of 7 sibs to race, 5 won and all 5 beat winners. Two earned more than 126K. One sib won its 2YO debut.

SIXTH RACE

GOLDEN AGE is by a 12% debut sire. Her dam went 12-3-3-1 for 240K and this is her first foal. Roman
