ANALYSIS

FIRST RACE

RUSSIAN GREEK dominant in 2 starts since dropping down with this kind of company up north, been freshened, need only repeat those efforts to take another. DONEGAL HALL back where he belongs second off the claim but has yet to win one at this distance. COOKIES ARE GOOD re-claimed by present connections, given a break, has handled this one turn mile well in the past.

SECOND RACE

R SWEET EXCHANGE back to her favorite course, has enough speed to overcome tough outside draw. AWESOMENDENSOME has chased preferred one home on a couple of occasions, figures forwardly placed throughout. BISTRO MONCUR could prove major beneficiary if top pair hook early. Ran well over this course with a tad softer conditioned claiming competition earlier in the year.

THIRD RACE

GIUSEPPE THE GREAT finally finds himself in allowance ranks after turning in some big efforts vs. graded company and owns a decided Beyer edge on this bunch. Hard to look past at odds on. FLEMISH CAP likely to get loose from his inside post, should ultimately prove the one to beat. RED CRESCENT second best behind Flemish Cap here on 9/23, looks capable of grabbing minor share.

FOURTH RACE

FINAL FLURRY plunges to winning spot looking to earn elusive diploma for barn which got off to a good start at the meet wiinning Friday opener with another class dropper. MAMINKA flashed improved speed from the gate last weekend, deserved another look after eventful beginning in her bow. APPEALING MUSIC dons shades, finished with some decent energy inr ecent half-mile drill. Another worth a second try.

FIFTH RACE

CROWN TO THE GOLD no match for impressive debut winner while showing big improvement returning to the lawn. May not be facing that kind in this spot. HOWDY BOY got loose, proved no match for winner but was clearly second best while also posting far and away his career best Beyer in last but likely to face a little more of an early challenge with this group. THUNDER AND RAIN the question mark debuting for this tag off series of very average looking main track works. Bred for the going by Giant’s Causeway out of a mare who won 3 times on grass and barn sent out firster for twice this tag to win debut at juicy 13-1 with Saez up on Friday.

SIXTH RACE

APPA ran well vs. better across town now back on what appears to be her favorite course, should assert her class edge and be along with any help up front. ALL I KARABOUT cycling back to top form at the present time, missed a neck vs. similarly priced N3L’s in Md. finale. Ran well over this course at 3. LIQUID ALOHA overmatched in last couple now back for a straight tag, looks like good fit with this kind.

SEVENTH RACE

SARA STREET by Street Sense out of a multiple G3 winning mare who won twice at 2, exits near bullet gate move at PM in preparation for her bow. Could be good enough to win off the bench with this group. TREASURE IN HEAVEN the logical choice off decent bow when posted on extreme outside, hung out wide stalking pace set by ultimate winner Elusive Truth. Should benefit from the effort. MUCHACHA UNO has shown some promise in the a.m. as has Alter Moon. Both could be worth tossing in at a price.

EIGHTH RACE

SECOND MATE has already won this condition at

Monmouth and may have needed last when exiting a 3 month hiatus. Has run well over this course in the past, gets tepid nod at his best. ENGLISH

MINISTER got the better of preferred choice in their previous encounter and well posted on the rail. May prove one to beat. MY POINT EXACTLY has been hard used on the lead in each of his last pair across town, drops for straight tag, returns to a course he too has handled well in the past. Expecting big improvement.

NINTH RACE

MUCHO PROSPECT has caught wet trcks in all three previous starts but looked good on dry land working from the gate here last weekend. Might get brave if able to sprint clear of the other speed types in this lineup. FORTUNE COOKIE showed the ability to run from off the pace on graduation day when running down loose on the lead Blinded Vision, could prove major beneficiary if this one ties up late. CAN’T SAY NO dons shades, worked a bullet for local bow. Hard to ignore with these J/T connections.

TENTH RACE

GO HIPPO GO a major disappointment as odds on choice when tagged for the first time at GPW but inclined to give him another chance returning to course he handled well vs. better earlier in campaign. STUCK WITH YOU finished well in front of top choice in promising turf bow in a race which graded out fairly well for the category. NONNO NINO comes off improved showing when switched to sod but perhaps meeting a notch tougher on hike for this tag.
