BEST BET: RACE 3, ATLANTIC CROSSING

FIRST RACE

Off a fourth in the Jammed Lovely Stakes, DILLY DALLY DARBY is hard to go past in this NW2 OS allowance/$40K claimer. She’s being reunited with Wilson, who broke her maiden. FORESTELLA finished third and fifth in her two tries at this level on the Tapeta, since earning her diploma on the grass. RED CABERNET is coming off the grass with blinkers added, with Da Silva taking over from Emma.

SECOND RACE

FORESTER’S DESTINY found the mark two back at this $20K level under Moran, and is exiting a fifth-place finish in a $20K starter allowance. HOLY MCNASTY was a close second in each of his last two outings at a notch lower, most recently to a rival who came back to beat $8K stock. NAPAYSHNI wired $20K NW2 types three weeks ago, and might not be out of his league with these.

THIRD RACE

ATLANTIC CROSSING set fast fractions before fading to third when dropping from maiden special company to $32K in his latest. The son of Stormy Atlantic is capable of wiring this light maiden special field as a longshot, if the track is kind to speed. VAUGHAN closed for a share in each of his last three sprint starts. LET THE BIG HO SS ROLL wasn’t far behind the latter in fourth in one of his better performances Nov. 10.

FOURTH RACE

DUTCH BLITZ is taking another fishy drop to the lower maiden ranks for this fourth trip postward. He’s worked three-eighths since his disappointing fourth as the favorite Nov. 19, and should get back on track with Simon Husbands retaining the mount. DANNY’S RUSH is also dropping from $16K to an inviting spot, and could run big in just his second Tapeta excursion. CHEROKEE KNIGHT is turning back from a route to three-quarters with blinkers added. AE DISCREET DAN is another possibility.
