FIFTH RACE

-

MILWAUKEE MAGIC beat $10K conditioned claimers in his last two races, which followed an extended layoff. He should be ready to effectively take on open company in this $6.25K tilt going seven-eighths, the distance over which he graduated. SPECIAL CONCOCTION ran well in four of his last five outings, and could be the controlling speed. ATYPICAL is descending to a new low, and MACHITO is exiting a key race.

SIXTH RACE

POQUITO BANDITO was a surprisingly flat fourth Nov. 12, not long after his encouraging debut. The attractive chestnut has had a month off heading into this engagement, and could rebound at square price. WHERE’S ANTHONY just missed after an inside/stalking trip when favored in a longer maiden special Dec. 1. SONNY’S BLVD got away slowly before closing wide for second in his encouraging Nov. 25 opener. Toss MARTINKELLY in the super.

SEVENTH RACnE

GENTLEMAN JACKSON rode an inside bias to his 20th win vs. $8K opposition Nov. 22. The durable 10yo has maintained solid form since being reclaimed in August by Drexler, who’s also sending out the win-shy NINTH SYMPHONY. The latter is dropping from $20K while turning back to what might be his preferred distance. REIMAGINED and KITTEN CANDY ran one-two in a $10K seller Nov. 8.

EIGHTH RACE

ERADICATOR was stuck in traffic before closing for second when favored last time for $20K. He’s jumping up to $40K off a claim, and could prevail in this wide open event with Hernandez taking over. STORM RULER is tagged for just the second time after back-to-back thirds in N1X allowance company. BEN LOMOND came from four lengths in arrears to lose by a whisker in his improved last run.

NINTH RACE

SIGNATURE DATA lost all chance after breaking awkwardly last out in his first N1X attempt. The need-the-lead type could go all the way in this seven-furlong N1X, which doesn’t contain much other speed. SUNNY’S RAINBOW polished off NW3 OS allowance/$40K rivals last time under top jock Da Silva, who retains the mount for McKnight.

TENTH RACE

LEAVEM IN MALIBU blew away N2X opposition going nine furlongs in his first start with Patrick Husbands up Nov. 26. The massive bay seems capable of staying the mile and three-quarter distance of this G3 stakes. MELMICH won this marathon two years ago, and was upset in it last year when he was over the top. The closer is exiting his first loss of the year in the G2 Autumn, which was won by peaking rival who came back to bomb in a lucrative claiming crown event on the dirt at Gulfstream. PUMPKIN RUMBLE is coming off a neck loss to ENGLISH ILLUSION in the 13-furlong allowance prep for this contest. He defeated that rival the time before in a 12-furlong allowance.

ELEVENTH RACE

MIDNIGHT BREW has run three solid races since getting claimed for $10K in late September, earning an 80 Beyer in two of those outings. The Beyer par for this N1X level is 76. RED EXPLOSION weakened to second after hitting the front in the stretch in both of her November engagements. PRIZED BOURBON has improved dramatically since getting claimed by McKnight.
