BEST BET: RACE 9, KARLA WITH A K

FIRST RACE

TOUR DE ROCK makes the move back to two turns and should be sharp for the task off the sprint start - and as a fresh horse as this marks his first out since September. He also is getting back with statebred company with the meet now on in Arkansas. RUNAROUNDD­ANCING makes the move back to two turns and he is a winner at the trip - against open company. BOGEY owns the field’s best last-race Beyer Figure and has recency on top choice as he last raced in November.

SECOND RACE

SHOWREEL gives up recency to some of these as she has not raced since October, but what she lacks there she makes up for class as she has been facing steeper. STRIKE PERFECTION can make an impact with a repeat of her effort last April at Oaklawn. MIZZENCAT draws the widest gate, but was second for this price last out and in the process finished in front of fellow rival FIRST BABE.

THIRD RACE

SWEET SWEET KIM has shown improved speed in her recent starts and also draws a post that might give Laviolette options. SWEET SWEET KIM also is returning to the statebred ranks. ENDLESS BLOOM brings good racing experience to the table and is returning to the maiden claiming ranks after facing maiden allowance rivals last out at MVR. MISS D IRISH faces older rivals but is appealing for her promising debut, when she split a field of open foes at Churchill Downs. She owns the field’s co-highest last-race Beyer Figure, with SWEET SWEET KIM.

FOURTH RACE

DRC ALL INCLUSIVE is appealing for his consistent nature, as he has run first or second in five of his six career starts. He also is appealing as a February foal and for the fact that he exits a quick race in which he finished second to a quality kind of winner. ZOMBIE has the speed to hold his position from the rail. He exits same quick race as top choice. TIZ ALLUPTOME NOW was a romping winner in his debut and draws a useful kind of post.

FIFTH RACE

NAPLES MIST moves back to the main track and she’s been effective on dirt in the past. She was favored against maiden allowance foes last out at Fair Grounds and owns some of the field’s best Beyer Figures. ETTALUSIVE is appealing for her racing experience. She shortens up some in distance and in her debut she was second at this six furlong trip at Gulfstream. SPANKER is a new face in the market as she has been racing in New York. She’s back on dirt for the first time in a while and she was second on the main track in a maiden allowance at Parx.

SIXTH RACE

ZANDER ZONE makes a meaningful class move and goes for a winning trainer-jockey team in Diodoro and Cohen, who had a double here Saturday. BIG LEGACY comes off a productive kind of race. He was with the pace before finishing fifth in a seven-eighths start at Churchill. The race was his first since August 2016 and he would seem to have reason to move forward Thursday. WICKED RASCAL is an eight-time winner who fits with these.

SEVENTH RACE

STORMY PACIFIC faced steeper last out when fourth and note the race that came at this distance went in good time. STORMY PACIFIC could get a decent stalking kind of trip off a few drawn to his inside. SHARP ART is another who comes out of a quick race. He invades from Fair Grounds but is familiar with the local strip as a two-time winner at Oaklawn. GUNS LOADED is another new face with a proven record over the local main track. He has class appeal as one who has been facing stakes rivals in Southern California.
