EIGHTH RACE

SURF SHACK, the day’s best, completely eliminated for all intents and purposes on club turn when carried wide and knocked about some by a rival who bore out badly at that point from inside. Did well to finish wide running third, need only run back to previous try behind 8/5 Waldi to graduate. KIERLAND a fresh face on the scene, should come rolling late. DINO DUDE one of a few speed players in this one. Might ultimately prove one to catch if away running early.

NINTH RACE

SAILOR’S VALENTINE the class of this field as a G1 winner at 3. Obviously a question off the bench and on turn back to six furlongs but has handled distance okay in the past and ran big right off the bench winning career bow at tricky 7/8’s at Keeneland as a 2yo. RUN AND GO another good fresh and training extremely well at PBD for return from shorter freshening of her own. Will have to deal early with the speed of Nikki Belle and perhaps Day by Day. MY COUNTRY picked up a lot of pieces two back vs. similar, could come running late for at least another minor share at a decent price.

TENTH RACE

STARSHIP HOSTILITY got hung wide throughout last time after unlucky start so tossing that effort. Beat this same kind earlier this winter and getting major rider switch from double bug to Irad. GLORIOUS MOMENT the obvious choice having one 3 of last 4 including a similarly conditioned mile on 12/8 and hard to deny if getting loose again on the front end. GRAN CHAMA had little chance from outside post, did well to run third last time and in good form at the present time. Much better drawn today on the fence and another going from apprentice to top veteran here.

ELEVENTH RACE

WANNABEAPLAYER victimized by bad post, was forced to make premature run last time, did well to be third now drawn more favorably and ready to finally nail this condition with a luckier trip. COSMIC THUNDER another who made very premature middle run, faltered late under same conditions in that 2/11 event, capable of better and another good fit at this level. WAGE ACCELERATION

the logical choice on big class plunge and all those mid to high 70 Beyers but runner-up from last just got beat for maiden $35K so perhaps he’s a bit vulnerable at the short price here.

TWELFTH RACE

BIBLICAL overmatched in the Remsen but beat well regarded Marconi on graduation day and appears to be working forwardly for local bow. Should be along if able to work out a trip from bit of a tough post at this distance. BANDITO set pressured pace, folded tents early in Remsen and again out of his league following eventful start in the Holy Bull. May try to steal this one from inside gate re-uniting with Albarado today. TIP SHEET another with little chance after being hung wide on both turns in Holy Bull. Can come running for a share returning to allowance company.

THIRTEENTH RACE

CONQUEST DYNASTY gets blinkers for second start off the claim, showed improved speed with the new equipment in recent work, might improve just enough to get the job done in yet another wide open finale. FEARLESS PRINCESS knocking on door with this caliber. HIDDEN TO WIN under new management, looks like she was claimed specifically to put back on grass. Might be the sleeper we’re all looking for in get out event.
