BEST BET: RACE 1, NOBLE DRAMA

FIRST RACE

NOBLE DRAMA, the day’s best, finally showing the potential he flashed in the morning prior to his debut. Ran away and hid on graduation day and taken to make the successful jump right into allowance company with another forward move. REASON TO SOAR the question mark returning from extended vacation but showed enough early in his career(got beat only a length by Mo Cash at second asking) to get a long look in this spot. FLORIDA COTTON outran his odds, earned career best figure turning back to six furlongs last time and was sharp at this distance earlier in his career.

SECOND RACE

CASA BONITA not badly beaten facing MSW opposition in her debut despite a wide trip now plunges to the bottom for third start of fom cycle. Should relish the class relief. MOMENTA KAT stuck in third gear at the present time but the victim of unlucky trips on several of those occasions. Knocking on the door with this kind. BALLYLIN stays put off the claim after a beaten favorite for same tag last month. Fits here at her best.

THIRD RACE

CHISELED drops below level for which he was claimed two back when defeating state bred rivals for $12,500 tag. Well drawn on the rail, figures forwardly placed throughout. MODEL CITIZEN improved leaps and bounds off the claim when defeated by stable mate To Dare under tough starter conditions on 3/10. The one to beat if able to repeat that effort wheeling back on relatively short rest. SOLVE a giant question mark while also

dropping half his value off the claim earlier this winter, can’t leave out of the equation. THERAPIST earned career best Beyer while turning in even effort off the bench in the Palm Beach and likely to take another step forward with that race under his belt. Should trip out nicely behind likely pace setters SALMANAZAR and SPEED FRANCO. The former stretches out off impressive sprint stakes tally in turf bow but will have to avoid potentially suicidal duel with Speed F.. The latter did show he could sit off the lead, get job done winning the Dania Beach, might take that same approach today.

FIFTH RACE

GOT STORMY moved forward once again when rallying to popular maiden tally over pace setting Legend Emma in last and working forwardly for stakes bow. Will likely have to beat BEST PERFORMANCE who ran huge despite eventful trip behind Rushing Fall in the Juvenile Fillies Turf but coming off a freshening and a streak of “seconditis” dating back to late spring. ORIGINATOR showed big talent in her debut before disappointing in two turn bow at Tampa. Still looks like she has the potential to hang with this bunch with that last run under her belt.

SIXTH RACE

MISS MARISOL made two moves, dueling early, checking back, tryng leaders again while 3-4 wide turning for home going tricky 7 furlongs in bow. Shortens up, might prove right one in this spot with a little more patient handling. REMINGTON ROSE set contested pace, held off preferred one before succumbing to class dropping winner the second time around. Knocking on door, especially on turn back to three quarter’s. SECOND ILLUSION Could prove beneficiary of potential speed duel coming off solid effort when second best in a full field of 14, this distance, last month.

SEVENTH RACE

SPECIAL TRIP could not quite stay with Pletcher debuter Amertume in 3yo bow, the latter flattering the race coming back to finish second in G3 Herecomesthebride, a race that produced next out grads Figarella’s Queen and Got Stormy. Well drawn on the rail while getting blinkers for the first time today. Will have to catch speedy . LEGEND EMMA who turned in big effort at first asking only to succumb late to Got Stormy STYLE ICON showed promise despite a tough trip debuting at Tampa. Lures Ortiz, may prove a sleeper at second asking.

EIGHTH RACE

CONQUEST BIG E has been victimized by early trouble in both previous starts but continues to train forwardly, might be worth a look at the price if able to leave clean from the rail. IRISH WAR CRY should be able to move forward off sharp 4yo bow when out kicked to wire by Economic Model. TOMMY MACHO narrowly outlasted preferred choice in the Fred Hooper. Loves track and distance. Always Dreaming an obvious factor although Kentucky Derby winner likely to be over bet returningg to scene of his big effort a year ago in the Fla. Derby. Might be worth siding against at a short price.

NINTH RACE

Super wide open maiden turf event to kick off the Rainbow 6 sequence. RHODE ISLAND did not run as fast as many of these at first asking but was caught off a slow pace and did gallop out with much enthusiasm. Dons shades for second start, Gaffalione stays, figures to offer a little value in this extremely wide open spot in which trip likely to decide the outcome. LOGIC showed huge improvement stretching around two turns for the first time, earning big number despite getting hung wide throughout. Also gets a set of blinkers today as does MR. DISCRETIONARY who steps up off sneaky good effort off the Cibelli claim.

TENTH RACE

READY FOR RYE had little chance from far back in key Dave’s Friend to open the season. Returns to a track he’shandled well in the past and back with optional claiming and allowance company since well graded tally last spring in New York. Gets shaky nod in another toughee. WEEKEND HIDEAWAY runs well fresh and loves this track. Training well off the bench while also well spotted for return. SWEETONTHELADIES exits big try in the Gulfstream Park Sprint behind speedy Classic Rock. Hard to leave out of the equation if able to repeat the try.

ELEVENTH RACE

GRIZZEL ran well returning locally off a 4 1/2 month hiatus in the Sand Springs and training well subsequent to the outing. Looks like viable upset threat with red hot Saez taking the call. ON LEAVE the one to beat off another big showing in the My Charmer but must work out a trip from potentially tricky post at another short price. STORMY VICTORIA finishing full of run on the extreme outside to win the South Beach and hard to fault in her current form.

TWELFTH RACE

PRINCESS WARRIOR could catch a favorable pace set up returning to the main track off solid 3yo bow on turf while luring Irad for the assignment. CACHE lightly raced but has shown plenty of potential to this point and likely to imiprove off her even effort in the Davona Dale. Another who figures to set up shop just off the early leaders. TAKE CHARGE PAULA the logical choice after game effort to garner second money behind odds on Fly So HIgh in the Davona Dale but one of several pace factors in this lineup while stretching around two turns for the first time today. Perhaps worth siding against at the price.

THIRTEENTH RACE

HI HAPPY taken as an alternative to logical winner SADLER’S JOY stretching out off much needed and excellent showing in the G P Turf. Should get first run over likely pace setter One Go Al Go. Sadler’s Joy exits super impressive, last to first win in the Mac D but always a risky proposition, especially at short price, considering his running style. BULLARDS ALLEY continues to hold form well, reunites with Irad for the assignment.

FOURTEENTH RACE

CATHOLIC BOY has looked terrific since arriving locally and exiting a much needed outing when caught wide against the grain of the track in the Sam Davis. Already proven at the distance and likely to get a legitimate pace set up in this lineup. STORM RUNNER trained lights out before the Fountain of Youth but lost all chance when sent up prematurely then checked back near the five furlong pole. Continues to look good in the a.m, could prove sleeper, pay big balloons with more patient handling. STRIKE POWER turned in big effort making two turn bow in the Fountain of Youth and another who couldn’t be training any better ever since. Just a question if he can handle the stretch to nine furlongs. Promises Fulfilled hard to fault off huge effort in the FOY, just a question of whether he can repeat the try especially if pressed early, as expected, by Strike Power. Audible the logical choice off huge effort in the Holy Bull but did trip out perfectly that day and may not get such a favorable set up from today’s post. Taking stand against at the short price.
