BEST BET: RACE 4, VICKY QUEEN

FIRST RACE

BELLA VINCENZA entered main track only and would appear to have the edge if this one moves to the main. ANTOANETA didn’t run badly making first start in 13 months despite a pretty eventful looking trip, should benefit from the outing returning vs. same kind at what may be a bit more generous price. Ran second to the now solid allowance type Valedictorian over this course a year ago. NEWMANS FAST GIRL easily got the better of the preferred choice in their previous encounter while second best behind improve Lisa Limon. One of several logical contenders if this one goes as scheduled on turf.

SECOND RACE

GOLDA a major disappointment in last pair but did break a step slow last time, chased wicked pace two back. Might wake up, get brave if using her speed to shake loose in this spot. MARIEALENA logical off near miss behind 7-5 winner first off the claim last month. FORTY KILOS loses the shades, must respect as lone multiple winner of this lot.

THIRD RACE

AURORA PRINCESS withstood brutal pace pressure from even money R Swift Taylor, was still able to hold on for a clear victory over same kind on April 26, need only get a little bit more relaxed trip to take another in current form. MISS JAK ran down top choice at seven furlongs earlier this meet, shortens up and gets a little class relief returning with straight 3yos off grueling mile try vs older foes. CHRISTMAS MAGIC continues to improve, tripped out well, still could not run down top one last time.

FOURTH RACE

VICKY QUEEN the day’s best hard to look past off recent N2L win stepping up to this level for first time against a weak looking bunch. MISS STALWART perhaps best of the others stretching to a mile. Should be forwardly placed throughout. RRUNTOPERFECTION back to the main track after steady diet of turf tries. Owns a win on surface, might come running late to grab a piece here.

FIFTH RACE

DIPLOMATIC AFFAIR returns to the main track as the lone main track only in this spot after dull turf outing and would appear to have the edge should the race come off the turf. If not, it’s a relatively pace less affair which could give STORMIN CHARLOTTE a bit of an edge if using what speed she’s got to her best advantage early on. Might just make amends for that dull showing at even money vs. same kind last time. SWAPL back to more suitable spot, beat open $16K company for fun two back but a stretch running sort who must not fall too far back off potentially soft pace.

SIXTH RACE

A lot of guess work in this one with so many new faces debuting for pretty much bottom level tag at this point. SPRINKLED sports owner-trainer combo that likes to spot young ones for early success, has shown enough in a.m. to get shaky nod. C. A. C. CHAQUIRA and SNELL FLICKA showed some promise in well graded Bye Bye J dash, the former donning blinks, likely to come away running from outside gate. Might prove one to catch.

SEVENTH RACE

RETHINKME another main track only who will be tough if the race switches over due to soggy turf course. Otherwise how about trying to get RAHY MOMENTA to clear off, lead these a merry chase today. At her best when loose early as she should be today. WISHFULLY outfinished top one but just barely in their previous meeting and obviously a pretty good bit for this tag.

EIGHTH RACE

SONG OF MELODY returns to what is obviously her preferred surface off the claim for top percentage
