BEST BET: RACE 1, TRANSITIVE

FIRST RACE

TRANSITIVE, the day’s brest, dueled ultimate winner before fading late when well backed for his bow. Dons shades, turns back in distance, should make amends. SALARY CAP looks best of the new faces by above average debut sire Street Boss and kin to stakes winner Concealdwithakiss. Has shown speed in the a.m. at GPW. Must break clean from tough post for beginners. AMANECER has posted a pair of bullets since slow start cost all chance in his bow. Expect better.

SECOND RACE

SU SU’S KITTEN comes off sharp outing vs. a notch better returning locally for present connections. Need only repeat the effort to get back on winning track. SAMURAI’SFIRSTLADY one of several speed types in the lineup. Well s potted off the claim but must avoid potential early duel with Hold That Kitten and others in this lineup. ORTIGA has won just twice in 27 tries and idle since September but appears to be training forwardly for her return and aggressively spotted off the bench by high percentage barn.

THIRD RACE

OCTOPYTHIUS in dangerous hands since his last and looks like the controlling speed of away running from his outside post. Might not look back. EL CHAVAL back to more suitable spot returning to main track where he finished fourth despite eventful trip on 3/30 and 4/8. Looks like a good fit in this soft spot. HOPE IS RISING a total non-winning sort but might plod in for minor award.

FOURTH RACE

FOCUS ON ME in peak form especially since switching to turf, might just try to take it right to the odds on Pay Any Price if away running from the rail. A potential duel between the two likely favorites could play in favor of LITTLE CHESNEY, the best late running threat in this spot. PAY ANY PRICE the obvious choice but has proven vulnerable when headed early as he could be if top choice sent along early. Perhaps worth siding against at another very short price.

FIFTH RACE

SWEETSWEETSWEET broke slow, raced wide when well backed for her debut and like Salary Cap in opener kin to SW Concealedwithakiss. Expecting better. AWESOME PARK got crunched at the break, recovered to run credible third in her bow, deserves a look back with similar with a little better racing luck. DOUBLE MEDAL a full to 68K earner Majestic Eagle who did post its lone win on grass. Has shown some gas on the farm for high percentage barn.

SIXTH RACE

Going with the older runners JUENESSE DOREE and FASHIONABLY WILD in this wide open spot. Former ran well off a long vacation despite some late trouble, Gaffalione stays, need only move forward to get back on winning track. FASHIONABLY WILD comes off a couple of improved showings earelier this spring but has been stuck in this category a very long time and facing prospect of some early pressure from Mahvelous Kitten. ADMIRAL’S WIN not badly beaten by in form Dark

Artist under similar conditions here last time. Cannot ignore.

SEVENTH RACE

Hard to look past ALTER MOON off big effort despite slow start in the Game Face. Must avoid potential early duel with DANCIE who is strictly the one to beat while continuing to progress with each subsequent start. RENEE’S CAT looks best of the rest.

EIGHTH RACE

TREASURE FOR GOLD turned in credible effort stretching out around two turns for the first time in full field of state breds last month, need only progress, trip out to get nod in this spot. ONE DIRECTION SONG exits career best effort and clearly at her best when taken back off the pace. Runner-up flattered effort winning optional claimer at Woodbine for Casse in her next start. KITZEL PARK a lightly raced sort who showed big promise when switched to turf for maiden win. Should improve off that try.

NINTH RACE

CURLIN’S APPROVAL has gotten a much needed freshening, working well, should prove too classy for these. RICH MOMMY the main danger but remains winless in three tries at this distance. DORITZA looks best of the others.

TENTH RACE

MR. PAPILLON a shaky nod on the drop to this level off near miss vs. a notch better four weeks earlier. WHISKEY TRAIN made premature middle move, flattened out late when trying this company for the first time himself on 5/13. Dangerous with a better judged ride. ESCAPE VELOCITY in new hands since failing as odds on choice in Tampa finale. Dangerous if loose again.

ELEVENTH RACE

LUCILLE BULL looks like she could prove controlling speed dropping to this very soft spot. Might not look back. GRAN AVENTURA stretches out after being a bit overmatched while kept wide in her bow. Should relish the class drop. MICHELLE’Z LAUGH winless from a dozen tries the majority on grass but might fit with this kind if taking to the main track today.

TWELFTH RACE

INSIDE TRIP obviously better sui9ted to turf than dirt. Back on her favorite surface while well spotted with this kind in finale. MISS SOPHIA’S STAR dons blinkers, drops, need only repeat anything shown of late to prove prompt favorite. DURVEN disappointed last out in Tampa after big local try two back. Major player if able to repeat that try.
