Belmont Day provides for all
Belmont Stakes Saturday is a busy day at DRF Tournaments, with a variety of games for an assortment of players no matter what your bankroll or tournament goals.
Let’s start with the featured qualifiers. First, there is a $410 game that will award entries to each of the two Saratoga Betting Challenge contests, along with $500 in travel. This year, for the first time, Saratoga has moved its contests to the weekend. There will be a $1,000 buy-in game on Friday, Aug. 9, and a game that costs $2,000 on Saturday, Aug. 10. Players competing this Saturday will have a chance to win entries to both games plus $500 in travel. One in 10 entries will receive winning packages Saturday.
Also on Saturday, there’s a chance to qualify for the World Championship of Handicapping, DRF’s big-money online game with no takeout on the finals. Full information about the 2019 event is expected soon, but in the meantime you still have a chance to win big. Saturday’s Grade 1 qualifier costs $580, and one in 10 entries will win their $5,000 buy-ins.
There are also a couple of high-level feeders on Saturday. Customers interested in playing in the Del Mar Challenge, a live-bank event that takes place on July 28-29, can put up $114, and one in five entries will advance to Sunday’s qualifier. Players can also buy-in directly on Sunday for $495, and one in 20 will win packages worth $8,500. That’s an $8,000 Del Mar entry plus $500 in travel.
Saturday’s final featured game is a round one feeder for Keeneland’s fall contest, another important major livebank event. Saturday’s contest costs $95 to play, and one in five entries will win a $410 seat to the Saturday, June 16 qualifier.
Also be on the lookout for other feeders, credit builders, matchups, and winner-take-all games this weekend on DRF Tournaments. For a full list of all the games available go to tournaments.drf.com [link].
