BEST BET: RACE 6, CROWN TO THE GOLD

FIRST RACE

That was a nice easy debut for TALKING POINT and one that we think he can move forward from. He did get some play in said debut which always bode well second time out. His recent work is sharp and now he gets in light and we have to wonder if those are connected. CUCHITO might prove quickest. It is nice to see him puts races together. He is a 4YO so he holds an age advantage over a few of these. TOMS CHUCHU might be the value. We have a sneaky suspicion that he just hated Tampa. His debut on the turf was solid last September. His most recent was just good and that was with a poor start.

SECOND RACE

MOSCA just figures to be better on the turf. It helps that a 21% turf barn calls the shots. Turf breeding is great as 355 turf Tomlinson can attest too. New barn has yet to get a good run from this gelding but both tries came off the grass. If this comes off again... we would look elsewhere. MOTATAN has some speed and does draw inside. We spy some other zip but this gelding has passed runners before. This barn shows a flat bet profit with their turf runners and their dirt to turf entrants. TOO STORMY is feeling good and just missed as the chalk. This post and price is no picnic though.

THIRD RACE

SHE’S UNBRIDLED was stuck on the rail in her debut where she broke mid pack. She stalked a bit and then tired but she got what she needed from that race. Now she gets first Lasix and catches a field with a bunch of suspect first time starters. Class drop is just right. ITS MY LUCKY CHARM ran much better in her second start but is that that surprising? Maybe the Lasix helped? Now the blinkers go ON as Pancini stays put. MISS HEART is by a 9% debut sire. Her dam was un-raced. Both sibs won with the best being a full brother that is 35-6-3-10 (202K). PASO A LA REINA is by a 7% debut sire. Her dam was un-raced and this is her first foal. BY GOLLY MISS DOLLY is by a 7% debut sire. Her dam was un-raced and this is her first foal. POESIA is by a 9% debut sire. Her dam went 18-3-3-1 for 347K. This is dam’s first foal. If the umbrellas come out then this race gets even more impossible.

FOURTH RACE

SWAPL gets better race flow today and goes third off the layoff. She has won four times on this sod. Main knock is this outside post. Hey, maybe that helps the price. LAPANTALONES FANCE might be the value. She was steadied in her most recent. Those three tries before that were all OK. Maybe this 9YO is starting to feel good. STORMIN CHARLOTTE figures to revert to her normal stalking ways today. Local tab is just fine but this mare hasn’t won in a long time.

FIFTH RACE

Aren’t most of these one turn runners? With that in mind, why not SAMBROOK EDGE? When last seen going two turns, this gelding got a 76 Beyer while facing much better. Musical jocks isn’t our favorite but the price should be. IMPERIAL WARRIOR ran OK three back and yep around two turns. Maybe he bounced two back or maybe he didn’t care for a good turf. His most recent was solid at almost 50-1. NED DEVINE was staring to feel good at
