PAY ANY PRICE surely the class of this field, hard to look past even at the short price. FOCUS ON ME broke a step slow, got shuffled early, turned in disappointing showing behind preferred choice in their previous encounter, gets a mulligan if able to sit back, chase, make one run. May prove best of rest. MOONWALKER never got off his left lead when second best behind PAP on 6/3. Can come running for minor share again.

FIFTH RACE

The prospect of a hot pace could play into the favor of NOBLE DRAMA who ran well in the Ocala Flame despite being knocked far back after the start. Taken to run down PHANTOM RO who figures to come out running fresh off the long layoff. Talented sort, may just be a matter of whether he needs one off the bench. WAR GIANT much improved with addition of blinkers but not likely to see the front so readily in this spot.

SIXTH RACE

WHAT POWER drops, can be along on his best. Gets shaky nod in wide, wide open turf claimer. PORTER STREET in good form at the present time, can take another. BINGO BANGO BONGO another coming off much improved showing but stepping up a bit in company while wheeling back on relatively short rest.

SEVENTH RACE

GOOD GOOD by above average debut sire Quality Road while exiting a bullet gate work at PBD. Does not appear to be facing any killers at first asking. RED FOG gets Lasix while exiting key MSW state bred dash that has already produced pair of next out grads. Expecting much improvement. The same goes for NAIROBI who dueled winner, proved no match when dropped for a tag last time. Figures on or with pace throughout.

EIGHTH RACE

DEPENDABLE PHIL holding his form well at the present time, slight edge at his best in another turf toughee. ROYALSTON just missed behind in form Kikinboy who has now won his last two. Must overcome testy post at this distance. TRACKING STOCK heading in the right direction from a Beyer standpoint at the current time. Another of the many logical contenders with trip likely to decide outcome.

NINTH RACE

RONEHANDOFBLACKJAK and BARGAINAIRE a couple of intriguing looking new faces debuting for low tag. Former by excellent debut sire Kantharos while latter out of a G1 placed mare and kin to three previous winners. Tabbing tote for further insight. PASO A LA REINA ran well vs. same kind at first asking. Must avoid wide trip from outside gate. Awesome Friday may be better than current form suggests. Respect on the drop vs. these.

TENTH RACE

FRIEND ZONE flashed improved speed over the main track in a race which collapsed late and from which first two finishers returned to win at next asking. Back to the lawn, drops to bottom, looks like good fit with two under his belt. SPANISH

DUDE beat five of 11 rivals launching career vs. a notch better and likely to improve off the effort.

NONNO NINO has been on the fringes several times with this kind and even better. Hard to leave out of the number.

ELEVENTH RACE

Shaky call to JERSEY STREET who was easily second best last time behind runaway winner who ran far and away the best race of his career that day. Should trip out well tracking inside speed. BIG

AWESOME back to more suitable level after being totally overmatched last time. Lures Tyler G, looks like good fit with these. STRONG COMPOSITION has a win and a second in last two starts vs. open $6,250 company. Should come running late at a price.

TWELFTH RACE

MY MISS TAPIT, the day’s best, on cruise control during latter stages of well graded allowance win in 4yo bow, is perfect in three starts over the track, and perhaps sitting on best yet off recent series of PBD works. Will likely have to catch speedy MS

LOCUST POINT who could be dangerous if loose as expected especially if catching tight, fast track. CURLIN’S APPROVAL the reigning champ and class of field but perhaps vulnerable at short price from tough inside post. She Takes Heart absolutely no match for preferred choice in their previous meeting but working lights out since changing barns via claim box. Expecting big improvement.

THIRTEENTH RACE

Hard to ignore X Y JET even at the short price returning to his favorite track off huge showing in Dubai. MO CASH no match for top one in the Sunshine Miillions although could have been closer with a cleaner trip. Another training extremely well for new mentor. CLASSIC ROCK like top one loves this track and showing his abundant speed on a regular basis in the a.m. Must avoid potentially suicidal early duel with the favorite.

FOURTEENTH RACE

TALKING POINT and XIROMA chased home class dropping Latin Lover in relatively well graded bottom level maiden dash on 6/9 and could vie for major prize in finale. Former forced legit pace, faded late while moving forward off his debut, looks like third could be the charm with the right trip. Xiroma finished evenly following wide trip posting career best Beyer exiting six month vacation. Strictly one to fear. R BABY DRIVER flashed improved speed last time on grass in key race that has produced pair of next out grads from among the also-rans. Returns to main, sheds shades, cannot leave out of the mix for high percentage O/T connections.
