BEST BET: RACE 5, DIAMOND MAJESTY

FIRST RACE

BULLET THEBLUE SKY has turned in a couple of solid efforts since returning to grass, dropping to this level, need only trip out, repeat last pair to finally get through her N2L condition. FRECKLE DE FRECK hung late behind preferred choice in their previous encounter, may be top threat to upset likely favorite on the turn back . INSIDE TRIP got anything but that when forced very wide with her bid last time in a race that has since produced pair of next out winners. Lightly raced sort should improve.

SECOND RACE

FIRST OFF overcame slow start to turn in sharp debut only to run into a winner who freaked off anything shown prior to that effort. Need only break clean to earn her own diploma today. WINNING GAME well prepared for bow, wouldn’t have to be much to win at first asking. NOT NICE in dangerous hands off the claim. May get opportunity to try dry land for first time after opening career on grass and wet track. Respecting that near bullet drill on 6/10.

THIRD RACE

TRAVY BOY surely hard to fault in his current form. Well spotted to take another. DENEB broke slow from same rail post last time, could not make up the ground but holding form well on the surface,re-unites with Tyler, main threat if able to come away cleaner to closer striking position today. GRAND JR a non-winning sort for sure but capable of running on late for minor share at a bit of a price.

FOURTH RACE

FLORIDA TWO STEP rushed to contention after unlucky beginning, looked like a horse with some talent but much in need of that outing. Might not look back if away clean from rail, worth a look at a square price.. TAKE COMMAND has shown some speed in the a.m. of his own, could prove best of the several intriguing new faces in lineup. Tab tote board for clues. FRIENDLY FELLA tripped out well before proving no match for talented Cajun Embers at first asking while readily getting best of top choice in prospect, strictly one to beat at a short price.

FIFTH RACE

DIAMOND MAJESTY, the day’s best, plunges to winning spot off a couple of good efforts since stretching back out around two turns, moving back to turf. Too good for these with clean sailing. LEROI’S GEM severely hampered by extreme outside post when hung wide, shuffled back early on, doing well to beat more than half the field once recovering. Deserves mulligan vs. same kind. GOING TO THE BEACH exits two career best efforts in last pair on grass and well spotted to get back on winning track for high percentage J/T combo.

SIXTH RACE

RAINFALL no match for win-machine Flashing Diamond when returned to main tack last time, does not appear to be facing that kind today. SILVER THREADS working like gangbusters for return to dirt, could be ready for wake up call breaking from what could be advantageous inside slot.VIOLENT NATURE exits best yet from a Beyer standpoint but stepping up in company facing winner’s for the first time.

SEVENTH RACE

RUMBAGO a game second last time following

extended pace duel in solid turf bow. Need only repeat effort, avoid similar early fate to hang diploma on wall with these. DYNAMIC DANCER consistent sort from a numbers standpoint but still a 17 race maiden with some hang to him at the end. Still hard to toss from this equation. ROCKY STRANGE back to grass off a couple of main track sprint outings. Might show improved speed off those efforts.

EIGHTH RACE

TIUNA caught Tampa invader who freaked to a career best effort and then some last time while easily second best at this level. Barn owns amazing success rate with new acquisitions and well drawn outside the other speed. That group would include HIDDEN TO WIN who has also switched barns since readily handling same kind at a mile on 5/26. Turning back to perhaps her best distance here. LOVING VALENTINA another recent claim who sheds shades while exiting decent gate drill sans blinkers.

NINTH RACE

FALSE ACCUSATION coming off huge effort in defeat behind red hot Stay On Base when hard used on front end before succumbing to four time winner at end. Ready to win this condition with the same kind of try. OX BRO drops after having been gelded since latest fiasco on 6/1. Might get wake up call at a price. BILLY BIG another who ran afoul of Stay on Base in latest but has had his number in trifecta in each of last 5 starts.

TENTH RACE

RICHEST GIFTS earned high marks, relatively speaking on graduation day and working smartly for new connections for local bow. Hard to look past. SECRET LIFE STYLE on the fringes in last pair with same kind. Might pick up some pieces again. MASTER RORY disappointed as odds on choice when plummeting through claiming ranks for latest venture and now in new hands wheeling back quickly off the claim. Taken for minor share at best once again. Tossing Pokerist’s last on grass. Part of equation with repeat of previous Tampa tries.

ELEVENTH RACE

MI CUAIMA drew clear at mid-stretch, could not withstand winner while taking the measure of many of these in a race run in driving rainstorm two weeks earlier. Bit of an inconsistent sort but sitting on another win at this level at her best. BALADA honed her speed with recent sprint outing, will stand some catching if able to relax for any significant portion of early stages. PLEIN AIR benefitted from race flow last time while no match for Mi Cuaima in pair’s previous encounter.

TWELFTH RACE

QUEEN OF SWAG drops to bottom, back on dirt, in nice spot to graduate in finale. Will likely have to catch HERECOMESTHEGHOST who got hung wide shortening up in distance last time. Looks on or with pace throughout returning to 7/8’s. FORLOVE drops to bottom, figures part of early mix if away running from inside.
