BEST BET: RACE 12, ONE WILD CHIC

FIRST RACE

The first of many extremely wide open races on this card. FLOWMOTION squandered a big lead at mid-stretch to Billy Big in his last although latter did return to finish 3rd in a $16K starter at next asking. Might just hold on here turning back to a mile.ON CRUISE CONTROL another coming off near miss when second best to class dropping Black Prong on 8/31. Logical choice. CHANGING LEADS returns to his preferred surface when second best despite slow start and sitting off soft pace in his last over grass.

SECOND RACE

SOUND OF THE TAP might just carry his ample speed the entire route in this spot switching to more experienced pilot for the assignment. Little to choose between OUR SARGE and NIGHT RYTHM off their previous two encounters. Trip the key here as usual.

THIRD RACE

WAR PIPE another of those “good as any” type selections amongst this bunch of inconsistent maiden types returning to the lawn off decent main track showing behind odds on winner two weeks earlier. KID KANTHAROS another logical member of this lineup dropping to the bottom, returning to turf with red hot Paco taking the call. CREST OF EDEN a non-winning sort but might grab another minor share at his best.

FOURTH RACE

STAR JUANCHO taken to run down the speedy TREV returning to dry land and if able to repeat that nice performance behind the lightly raced but extremely talented Soldollie two back. Trev has been away but the class of the field with nine victories on the resume’. Might not look back if able to shake loose without much fuss early on. BONDETTI improved at second asking when stretched to seven-eighths. Giving away a lot in experience to top pair but could come running for a major share on the turn back to this distance.

FIFTH RACE

Lots of contenders to choose from once again so why not LEROI’S GEM to reverse recent decision behind MOSCA in a race which should come back to both at the end considering the abundance of speed signed on. . SHIDOSHI one of the ones who figure prominently early while returning to turf off decent wet track try. One to catch?
