FIFTH RACE

HARD WORKER continues to move forwardly, knocking on door with this kind. EPIC LOVE benefitted from slow pace when narrowly beaten on the drop as odds on choice in GP finale. Might not get away as easily here. CALYPSO DEEP winless in 13 tries but coming off best yet with Paco in the irons.

SIXTH RACE

In a race where her 13 the best last out Beyer of the bunch, KLAUDIAS WARRIOR gets the nod after being hard used early on in the contest. Has changed hands but not riders since the outing. Might not look back with this weak group if away clean from the rail. PANDA has shown some life in the a.m. since dull debut for twice the tag. Expect improvement in this spot. TIZ TAS TIME another who flashed speed, faltered late in both previous starts. Has not live up to earlier expectations but might with this crowd.

SEVENTH RACE

MATZO BELLA finished a couple of lengths behind next out, runaway MSW N Y grad Short Pour in promising debut when perhaps coming up a race short at the end. Does not appear to be facing that kind in local bow. ALAULA another who might have needed her initial outing when second best behind even money debut winner Madame Barrister. Should also move forward off the try. Will respect RED HOT DAME considering her connections and she’s out of a SW mare although with several main track bullets on resume’ wondering why she launches career on turf with just modest breeding for the going.

EIGHTH RACE

DREAMY ART dons blinkers while returning to Zerpa barn after a near two year absence. Best too good in this spot. SOL DAT SUGAR the one to beat getting a little class relief of her own off good showing vs. better in previous try. OPTIMISTIC SHOT a beaten favorite going a mile for same tag after taking the lead near mid-stretch. Could sustain the run on turn back to 6 furlongs.

NINTH RACE

OSCURA getting some much needed class relief after never having run for cheaper than a $16K tag. Only 1 for 26 lifetime but 0 for ) with this kind. INSIDE TRIP continues to move forward from a Beyer standpoint, won’t be in N2L category much longer in current form. SHEZ A GREAT ONE has been stuck in the N2L’s for quite a while but another knocking on door with a pair of runner-up finishes coming into this race.

TENTH RACE
