BEST BET: RACE 4, TRUE HEIRESS

FIRST RACE

Very little to choose from in the opener. BRAG DUDE drops to weakest level yet upon returning locally. Barn struggling for the year but is one for one at the meet. Has enough speed to lead these a merry chase if able to repeat his last. MISTER STORM lightly raced while in amongst a bunch of proven losers. Has beaten more than half the field in both previous starts. HAYBUB ran well enough two back to toss in for a share.

SECOND RACE

HONOR INDY back to her preferred surface and in with bottom level types for the first time on grass. May not look back. EXCLUSIVELY EMMA wheels back on relatively short rests after having her races well spaced earlier this season. Got hung out to dry from tough post last time. SUNFEST winless in 17 tries but with half a dozen in the money finishes. Might add to those minor award totals today.

THIRD RACE

HEAVENS PULPIT checked at the break, failed to show her best speed trying turf in G P finale now back to the main, taken to be on or with lead throughout. Missed a neck with same kind two back. PRINCESS KNOLL no match for pace stalking winner last time. Turns back to more suitable distance. Must avoid potential speed duel with the top one. FLORA FANTASY got shuffled early, never recovered as even money choice three weeks earlier, can make amends at her best. Could prove major beneficiary if top pair hook and falter.

FOURTH RACE

TRUE HEIRESS, the day’s best, drops to bottom, blew out nicely for local bow. Zayas stays. Too good for these if showing top speed from the outset. WILDCAT BEAUTY another getting much needed class relief while returning to turf for the first time since 3yo finale at the FG when not disgraced against MSW competition. Should relish the class relief. R LUCKY DICE another who showed some promise in only previous turf outing.

FIFTH RACE

Tote board might offer the most guidance with so many new faces signed on here. STRONGER KAT has shown some speed in the a.m. and first year sire off to a decent start to his breeding career with beginners. As good as any. LAILONI the most experienced member of the field while exiting second place finish behind 3-5 Abeula’s Love exiting 2 1/2 month vacation at GP. Logical off that try. BRUNETTE PRINCESS another making debut with some promising looking works on resume’ at both G P and GPW.

SIXTH RACE

In a field where the main speed are a couple of horses with no grass experience, GIANT’S VOICE could be the one picking up the most pieces shortening back to five furlongs off yet another two turn outing. Will likely have to out-kick familiar foe TEXAS RUSTLER to take down the top prize, the latter a bity of a hanging sort but consistent with this company. MR FRENCH gets significant rider switch while making third start of his current form cycle. Expecting best yet this season.

SEVENTH RACE

NO CHOICE drops to very weak looking spot after having shown speed in only previous try. Looking for major improvement especially if able to shake loose from the outset with Zayas taking call from

the apprentice. PAPELON and MR LUCAS a couple of new faces to weak category from Sano barn and seemingly work mates earlier this summer. Chjeck board for further hints.

EIGHTH RACE

BRIGHT VENEZUELAN finished full of run once angling off rail to just miss running down RICHIE’S SISTER in pair’s previous meeting, might reverse the decision with a similar effort in the rematch. The latter the one to fear again if avoiding possible duel up front with Speed Star. PROPER PRINCESS a non-winning sort but hard to leave out for at least a minor share.

NINTH RACE

Not much pace or experience around two turns signed on for this one. QUEENS QUARTERS got shuffled around breaking from the rail out of the mile chute last time while fourth behind odds on winner and gets the bug boy back aboard here. Looks capable of improving at a square price. FLYING GIRL the logical choice off near miss in crosstown finale but must repeat effort for new connections off the claim at what figures to be a short price. JOKERS QUEEN well drawn inside at this distance. Should be well placed throughout.

TENTH RACE

Another head scratched to close out the day. HEIR TIME has shown speed sprinting now stretches out around two turns for high percentage barn. Might get brave if loose on the lead. Connections of DIXIE PRINCESS tried to get her on the grass to no avail twice last spring and summer but has had plenty of experience in the a.m. on surface and note Zayas takes call after riding live looking Zweet Embrace last time. As good as any at what may be a little price. BIENVILLE STREET adds blinkers, stretches out, drops to weakest level yet. Lots to like with these.
