BEST BET: RACE 1, SCREENWRITER FIRST RACE

SCREENWRITER rallied inside from off sleepy fractions when third in a nine-furlong N1X that was yanked off the grass Oct. 28. The well-bred daughter of Ghostzapper should have more pace to chase in this 10-furlong tilt. ALICE’S WAR landed on the edges behind the top pick after passing a few rivals in the aforementioned event. LIDDYUP can make her presence known if she fires one of her better shots.

SECOND RACE

TWITTER STORM fought for the lead before drawing clear to capture a shorter sprint at this $40K class in her latest. She was previously third behind two stakes-caliber rivals in an N1X. ZINDIGO lacked room on the turn before ending up third behind the top choice Oct. 28. SHOWBIZ LADY made a wide bid at the top of the stretch before checking in second in the aforementioned race.

THIRD RACE

ARTISTICO never challenged during a wide trip over giving ground when favored in the final leg of the Woodbine Turf Endurance Series. He could be a factor in this shorter N1X, regardless of the surface. CANMORE earned the highest last-out Beyer in the field by a good margin when trouncing $20K conditioned stock over a mile on the grass Oct. 21. The win-shy ENTWISTLE is always mandatory for the bottom of vertical wagers.

FOURTH RACE

GUNNER BEN checked in second for the second straight time at this price after closing with the aid of an anti-speed track two weeks ago. He should be more forwardly placed and just as effective here on the stretchout from six to seven furlongs. CANDYCREET is being reunited with leading rider Da Silva following a belated third in the slop at Fort Erie. YOU’RE BATMAN and YODA MAN are both plunging in value to where they should belong.

FIFTH RACE

BREAK AND ENTER closed four-wide for third at first asking in a shorter sprint at this OS maiden special class Oct. 13. The winner of that race returned to run second in the Frost King Stakes, and seventh-place finisher Victor’s Dynasty subsequently romped at this level (67 Beyer). CHARLES STREET galloped out strongly after rallying inside for third in his $32K opener over this seven-furlong distance. SHOW ME YOUR SPOTS outran the latter for second after breaking slowly and closing wide from far back Oct. 21. Use HARMONY HALL and WHITE WEDDING in the lower rungs of the exotics.

SIXTH RACE

CONQUER THE SKY rallied inside from off fast fractions to win a recent $12.5K route over nine furlongs. She could get a similar set-up in this shorter $6.25K route. MISSY CRISSY is dropping from that same contest, and could prevail in the projected front-end battle. BLUE PEARLS is eligible to get back on track in her second try off a claim. Toss THALIAS FIRE in the super.

SEVENTH RACE

REDEAL has worked well for this caliber of competition. The daughter of 16% first-out sire Signature Red is the first foal from a seventime sprint winner who banked $60K. PLACE THE BLAME was a bit player in the majority of her outings this year against tougher, prior to running second at this level a month ago. Her trainer has solid numbers right off the claim. LA VIE EN ROSE made a wide bid to the lead before hanging when third in her latest. Use her on the bottom of intra-race bets, along with FLOATING RATE.
