BEST BET: RACE 5, REAL FAST MUSIC

FIRST RACE

FLYING LIBERTY ran red hot Gran Malbec to a length decision this summer and has continued to hold his form in two subsequent starts. Re-claimed by current connections off popular N2L win, should handle jump to next level with repeat of last. ECCENTRIC WARFARE a beaten favorite in both previous starts at the level when poorly posted both times. Lures Paco, gets a little break in post positions today. DIFFERENCE MAKER another stepping up off recent N2L tally albeit on dirt not turf. Looks like one to catch if away clean.

SECOND RACE

PRINCESS KNOLL has seen her Beyers go south of late now drops back to level which produced easy win across town this summer. Like the fact Jaramillo signs back on for the assignment. If preferred one truly on the downswing, THREAT could be the best alternative. Taken by by former connections out of good effort last time, been freshened a bit and lures hot jock for the assignment. DREAMY ART ran big number last time returning to Zerpa barn but must prove mettle against open claimers stepping up out of N3L conditioned company.

THIRD RACE

SMOKEN DEB has shown promise in the a.m. prepping for bow in N Y although her sire just 1 for 49 with debut types. Some mixed signals but looks like she could be right one in this modest looking spot. FLAT QUEEN turned in big effort from outside post debuting for a tag and continues to train well for her second try. INDICIA caught slop showed some speed finished 3rd best in a race originally scheduled for the turf and missed some time thereafter. Did work bullet for this.

FOURTH RACE

ANGELINO a consistent sort from a Beyer standpoint on turf and trying $8K company for first time on the lawn. Tepid nod with some help up front. MY RULES looks best on paper but some red flags considering the big drop in price and time away from races off the claim. Could prove vulnerable as likely favorite once again. NONNO NINO a nonwinning type but picks up lots of pieces along the way. Hard to leave out of the equation somewhere.

FIFTH RACE

REAL FAST MUSIC the day’s best drops to weakest level yet, should be long gone with these.. EL ZEUS comes off improved showing returning to the main track, might prove best of others. ERRE ERRE would be one to beat if this one on turf, a little more suspect returning to the main track today.

SIXTH RACE

FEATURE CREATURE shaky edge if able to overcome tough post after opening long lead, getting caught late by in form Miss Mariu, who flattered effort returning to finish 3rd in recent turf stakes. NIGHT WATCH a stretch running type who showed surprising speed in her most recent work. Has been on board in three of four previous tries. MYFRANCESCA turned in even effort stretching around two turns while hung wide much of way from tough post. Much better drawn on hedge here.

SEVENTH RACE

KAYLIE’S GIRL hard to fault in present form and obviously very fond of the local surface. Might handle jump to winner’s ranks if able to repeat her most recent try. PRAY PRAY PRAY another on today’s card better suited to turf than dirt but hard to ignore in current form and with a win on

her resume’ over the main track. BONNIE SCOT another going turf to dirt but with speed to register the mild upset if able to get loose from the many other speed types in this lineup.

EIGHTH RACE

SHES DYNOMITE a bit of an inconsistent sort of late but too fast for these with repeat of her effort two back in N. J. ORTIGA hard to ignore having won three of last four including a pair of open claimers for this tag and higher. STAR GALA gets a bit of class relief after having beaten many of these including Ortiga two back at GP.

NINTH RACE

HE’S GOT TALENT a once classier sort in very dangerous hands off the claim. Been freshened, ready to get back on winning track in this spot. EVOLUTION looks like the controlling speed if he leaves running from outside. Will offer a lot more value here than in his most recent and perhaps much needed try. SAUCY DON winless for quite some time but a good fit dropping for this tag although note he did chase home preferred choice when pair met at GP 11 months earlier.

TENTH RACE

Lots of options as usual on the turf in meet finale. SILENT SOFIA may prove best of the group in her present form after being pushed much of the way under similar conditions 18 days earlier. NIGHTSTORM no match for top one last time but did show improved effort, worth a look at the price. FAITHFUL SUE a pace play as she could stand some catching if able to get loose early. Worth tossing in for a piece.
