BEST BET: RACE 2, DANA GRACE

FIRST RACE

TRACY ANN’S LEGACY showed speed in her debut on main now switches to the turf and looks like a filly who’ll enjoy the surface change. Might not look back if able to clear off early with these. ENTREZ ENCORE adds blinkers, gets some much needed class relief returning to the sod, must overcome outside post. SPICED RUM PUNCH and Salsita Roja logical off their best previous tries in this spot.

SECOND RACE

DANA GRACE, the day’s best, chased class dropping Hill Valley holding bravely for second money when tagged for the first time, this distance, at Gulf West. Need only repeat the effort to graduate. ARMONY’S ANGEL drops another notch after rallying off slow pace in CD finale. Should come running best at the end. CHIC AND SEXY looks like speed of speed on stretch to seven-eighths.

THIRD RACE

JACKS A WARRIOR hard used early before succumbing late in another good effort vs. this kind, gets shaky call to hang on turning back to 5 1/2 today. NICKIE’S PAPA turned in big a.m. trial on 12/2 for local bow, should give top one a run for money from outset. BULLROARER could prove beneficiary if top pair hook early shortening up off series of longer races.

FOURTH RACE

CALL ME FANCY a Ramsey homebred who looks well spotted off the bench. Mom won 4 times, $178K during her career on grass. Lures Irad. Lots to like with this kind. MYFRANCESCA hard used earely, faded late while still beating more than half the field in crosstown finale. Could get brave if able to relax a bit more here. LAILONI showed promise trying grass/claimers for first time three weeks earlier. One of the many logical contenders in wide open maiden turf claimer.

FIFTH RACE

ARMY OF ONE turned in even outing debuting at CD beaten 8 of 11 rivals and expected to move forward from the effort. Gaffalione stays for barn with positive numbers with second time starters. SINGSONG BIRD likewise stretches out off even effort in bow at CD. Another expected to improve on stretch to a mile. PRINCESS TRINA finally starting to live up to expections but could not contain winner after setting slow pace in off the turf MSW dash in N Y Still must respect chances, especially if able to set up shop on front end again.

SIXTH RACE

JUPITER RISING back with N2L’s for only the second time in his career, should find this kind more to his liking. Back on winning track today. ART OF THE DREAM also getting some class relief after getting hung wide throughout last time. CONISTON has the speed to be dangerous over a track he’s handled well in the past.

SEVENTH RACE

KITTY FOYLE adds blinkers, switches to grass, son of Tapit4 should show marked improvement stretching around two turns off series of good drills at PBD. DIG DEEPER out-gamed to wire last time at Parx in a race that did produce pair of next out grads. Handled this course readily last winter. NASQ sporting very dangerous connections, kin to multiple turf winner Val’s Lemon Drop from potent barn. Cannot leave out of equation.

EIGHTH RACE

CHARLIE THE GREEK ran huge race in defeat in claiming crown finishing second behind runaway winning favorite despite getting hung out wide from impossible post. Does wheel back quickly, will need some help up front if he’s to run down the leaders. FRANCESCO APPEAL lost all chance after absolutely walking out of the gate earlier in the session. Fits with these if able to leave with the field from rail. VISIONARY RULER a logical choice off last several tries up north. One to catch at another short price.

NINTH RACE

DR. EDGAR never better, gets slight edge from fence in extremely wide open main event. MO MAVERICK perfect in two starts over the track, well spotted coming up tagged today. GUCCI FACTOR finished third in key race, just a half length behind subsequent SW offering Plan. Ran down preferred choice when pair last met in July.

TENTH RACE

PRINCESS VICTORIA stays put off the claim, returns to main track, ran est race of his career out of the mile chute here in August. RASHETTE stretches out, likely controlling speed at this distance. AS FAST AS YOU CAN well posted inside off good effort going a mile in CD finale.

ELEVENTH RACE

SISTER KITTEN hard to ignore despite being a beaten odds on favorite when catching yielding ground last out at Keeneland. Expecting best yet if able to finally get on firm ground. MACABRE back to what she likely does best. Finished third of a dozen over Keeneland green earlier this fall. CHASING HELICITY wanted turf but had to try main track debuting late this summer at Delaware. Expect big move forward if able to get on the lawn in nightcap.
