BEST BET: RACE 7, PACHANGA PARTY

FIRST RACE

WILDCAT BLAST showed speed making four wide middle move before drifting, tiring late in promising bow. Lures Irad. Expecting better the second time around. ART’S TABLE chased winner, held to mid-stretch showing marked improvement for red hot Sano barn in local bow and bred to handle the grass by Distorted Humor out of a 3 time grass winning mare. VERY AMUSING returns to what appears to be her favorite surface here.

SECOND RACE

DUNK second behind class dropping, 6/5 Valdocco last time and knocking on door at this level. K C TWOSTEP dueled, succumbed late behind preferred choice two weeks earlier, figures forwardly placed throughout once again. JUAN AND BINA still eligible for N2L condition at age of 7, might just relish the turn back to six furlongs here.

THIRD RACE

Regally bred GRACEFUL PRINCESS chased home a real good one returning from extended vacation and looks like controlling speed back in same spot today. Should not look back. WESTERN CURL no match for top choice last time but expecting forward move of her own in second start on dirt. HOROLOGIST multiple stakes placed returning to allowance ranks for just the second time, might be just a question of her ability to handle a mile.

FOURTH RACE

JALEN JOURNEY ran okay despite bit of a slow start in well graded MSW dash launching career across town, a race which did produce pair of next out winners. In good hands for second start while adding blinkers, Saez for the occasion. DINO THREE O NINE ran well returning locally vs. same kind on 2/7, expect similar effort here. LENNOX has been away over a year and getting full makeover having been gelded and getting Lasix for 4yo bow. Works say to expect to see this one flying early from rail.

FIFTH RACE

TOUGHEST ‘OMBRE has worked forwardly for new connections on the main track and best puts him right in mix in this wide open mid-level claimer on grass. GOLDEN SPEAR re-unites with Irad who guided him to solid second place finish behind odds on Illudere and next out winner Cowboy’s Hero two back. Expecting big improvement returning to grass. MO MAVERICK a bit of a question mark coming up tagged off the layoff. One to catch from rail.

SIXTH RACE

SONOMA STORM drops, adds blinkers, thinking she can get loose and perhaps brave on front end if aggressively handled from outset by Jose O.NOBLE MARIA another getting some class relief while finishing 5th of a dozen in key $50K claimer when last sighted back in January. Works say another forward move likely. RAGS PAULINE turned in promising inner bow, cannot leave out of equation with another forward move.

SEVENTH RACE

PACHANGA PARTY, the day’s best, was hung wide throughout off quick enough pace facing better over wet track last time. Looks like he should get loose, be able to control this one throughout if away running. PADILLA returns to S. Fla for

new barn but showing only limited work tab and back here on dirt not turf. Still might fit with this soft looking group. DRINK IN MY HAND back with easier conditioned claiming company although pretty suspect after bearing out badly last time for meet’s leading trainer..

EIGHTH RACE

WINDJAMMER returns to grass where she was a solid second vs. similar on a couple of occasions earlier in meet. Slight edge at her best. DIXIE PRINCESS caused frightening spill, had number taken down under similar conditions on 1/31, in new and dangerous hands since the outing. One to fear. MOTHERWELL done in disputing pace throughout vs. same kind last out but previous try when narrowly beaten for second by next out winner Cocktail Skirt points her out a potential win threat with proper handling today.

NINTH RACE

SI ES GOYA no match for runaway winner Math Wizard while easing second best last time and well posted for winning effort not facing that kind in this spot. STEADY EARNER the logical one dropping for this tag after holding own with better and catching monster of his own in latest. BOOBY

TRAP a prompt favorite on graduation day when outlasting first time starter to earn diploma in his sixth try. Improving sort cannot be discounted despite the hike to winner’s ranks.

TENTH RACE

GO POKE THE BEAR didn’t get the best of trips, still beaten 6 of 9 rivals for nearly twice the tag in local bow. Sitting on a diploma for this price. FINE SPIRIT another getting ample class relief while also adding blinkers for second start of his form cycle. Must have better luck at the break. Stretch running KNOKKE BY THE SEA exits best yet with addition of blinkers, could be a bit of a sleeper with a little help up front.

ELEVENTH RACE

AFFLUENTIAL continues to hold form extremely well, just failed despite having to alter course through stretch in near miss last time. Shaky call with trip likely the deciding factor amongst this group. SLOT RECEIVER not badly beaten by preferred choice in their recent meeting and Saez jumps aboard but must nd overcome a bit of a difficult post. ODE TO THE HUNT turned in even effort in local bow despite some trouble, expecting better with clean sailing in finale.
