BEST BET: RACE 1, BLASPHEMY

FIRST RACE

BLASPHEMY, the day’s best, a bit of a question mark on the sudden class drop after finishing second to recent SW Scraps two back but looks just too good for this bunch with anything left in tank for opener. AMERICA’S SIMMARD perhaps the best alternative for those looking to beat the favorite coming off good effort two back with this same kind. Knocking on door at the N3L level. CAN’T TRUMP KITTEN also getting some class relief for second venture with N3L opposition. Lightly raced sort eligible for best yet today.

SECOND RACE

BODEXPRESS back for first time since crazy doings in the Preakness. Work tab says he should be ready off the bench and anything close to best stuff likely to produce wire to wire win in return to maiden ranks. SEPTEMBERTEN in dangerous hands off the claim and did show well at a mile two back at Gulfstream. Perhaps best upset threat. ARMANDO R a beaten favorite at 3-5 in crosstown finale following several sharp and improving outings around two turns. Looking to bounce back here.

THIRD RACE

REMEMBER THE MAINE gets shaky call in one of many head scratchers on lawn today. Drops to cheapest level yet and hard to fault in current form. COMPLETELY BONKERS the most logical choice off well graded score vs. similar last time but must not bounce returning on relatively short rest as he did when going from 77 to 62 Beyer when back in 15 days this summer. HOT AND HEAVY perhaps the speed of the speed but must leave running from outside. Ran courageous second behind preferred choice in previous meeting despite setting pressured pace throughout.

FOURTH RACE

AWESOME BUZZ gets much needed class relief, returns to the main after setting hotly contested pace last time on sod. Might just get loose, stand some catching if away running from the fence with this group. HIGH APPROVAL has cycled back to top form, may prove one to fear. TAYLORSINITIATION a beaten favorite but with an excuse facing same kind last month at Gulfstream and has paired up top Beyers in last couple of starts. May be ready for best yet.

FIFTH RACE

THE DOER has shown speed, retreated in all recent tries but might be able to relax long enough in this spot to finally get job done, earn diploma today. BIG TREASURE puts the blinkers on for second start after showing promise at a mmile in career bow. BAMBINO beat more than half the field in his latest and looks like an improving sort who cannot be left out of this equation.

SIXTH RACE

PAULA ANDREA made middle move, flattened late when last trying this distance on 8/17, tossing last wheeling back in a week at a mile. Comes up tagged for first time. Shaky call here. VALLEY GIRL holding own for this tag, best puts her right in the mix with clean sailing. CREATIVE AWARD one of only two multiple winners in the field and likely to trip out well just off the pace of Don’t Lose Hope and Cory Gal.

SEVENTH RACE

SEAGAL gets nod in this total dart board of a maiden race with so many new shooters in the lineup. Tossing last when crushed during early stages. Has turned in steady series of works since arriving in S. Fla for this and with the experience to make a different in here. LEMONCITA might be best of next faces by Lemon Drop Kid. Never showed much on dirt but looks like one who’ll appreciate the grass. MISS MY MACHO not disgraced in a couple of turf outings at Saratoga including solid two turn effort behind a future
