BEST BET: RACE 6, YODEL E. A. WHO

FIRST RACE

VICKYTHEBEST chased wire to wire winner Hear My Prayer before fading late in turf bow in relatively well graded event now drops in against even softer for local bow. May not look back if able to beat the other speed types here to the front. R MOODY WOMEN one of several first time starters adding mystery to the mix. Has shown speed in the a.m. and barn usually places their new ones for early success although dam has yet to toss a turf winner. GOLDEN NOLE also getting some class relief and another with some early foot on sod.

SECOND RACE

Too many question marks to fall in love with anything in this one. GALIT JAK does have an experience edge over most when running better than final placing might indicate after taking up relatively sharply along inside after getting shuffled back on far turn and subsequently taking plenty of kick back racing on the rail. Should benefit from the outing and gets Zayas up for the occasion. BEAST OF WILDWOOD one of many new faces of interest in this one but must overcome tough post for beginners. AUNT NADINE has shown plenty of zip in the a.m. from the gate at Palm Meadows but might be notable barn’s go to rider Jaarmillo has taken the call on Princess Coro instead.

THIRD RACE

LEMON DROP TINI got squeezed at the start, did well to recover to finish fourth of a dozen against decent looking group of MSW foes last time at Keeneland. Gets some blinkers and a little class relief for local debut. Lots to like although must work out winning trip from extreme outside post. BEE WINGS also had to overcome unfortunate beginning when debuting at five furlongs in Indiana, finishing fifth of a dozen in a race that has already produced pair of next out winners. Should relish the added ground. SHYZA ran well in restricted MSW race stretching out, trying grass for first time in N Y Another who looks like good fit here.

FOURTH RACE

DOUBLE WHAMMY One of many contenders in wide open starter event. Beat $8k starter foes pretty handling earlier this year at Delaware Park and did make a middle move before flattening out when facing this same caliber last out at Gulfstream Park. Well drawn inside. Could prove bit of a sleeper. PEPPI THE HUNTER hard to look past in current form but is stepping up in company trying much tougher starter rivals than he defeated in last pair up north. One to catch. MR CHAPLIN ran a couple of pretty good races at this level across town during the late summer and will probably be over-looked a bit off that last try against better.

FIFTH RACE

BULLGRATS freshened since claimed for $16K back in late August but showing a steady and at times impressive work tab prepping for return. Holds class and perhaps speed edge over this group at his best. FRANKIE APPS has burnt a ton of chalk in his last three tries but still one of the major players at this level. SCRIBE another exiting a fairly substantial layoff and dropping to cheapest level yet on the turf.

SIXTH RACE

YODEL E. A. WHO, the day’s best, hard to look past at the short price off those last two outings and blistering 5F work for new connections here last weekend. Likely to stalk and run down ZORB who set fast and contested pace, held gamely enough going seven furlongs in last. RAYO MY KING with a turn of foot of his own and the only member of the field with a win over this track. Steps up off easy N2L wiin off claim for present connections.

SEVENTH RACE

VICTOR LOUNGE back for a straight tag making his second start since returning to south Florida and with enough back class to be along with the right trip. GUNSLINGER second best in Md. finale vs. same kind, looks like one to catch with Paco taking the call. HONEY DONT another northern invader who has been knocking on the door at this level since leaving town last spring.

EIGHTH RACE

FIRST OFF was well backed off the bench but failed to menace after breaking well behind the others just nine days earlier. Wheels right back, gets off the rail, gets one last chance dropping in against bottom level conditioned claiming types. Lopez runs from top one to IT’S A LOVELY DAY who figures to be heavily back for team Servis especially exiting key race from which top two finishers returned to win next starts. Strictly one to fear. BENDITA can hold on for a minor share once again if able to clear off early as exxpected under the triple bug.
